CHAPTER 22

Sarocha's point of view

One week has passed and grandma is okay and doing well. Tomorrow she can go home and of course I can now see Becca.

I miss her one week has passed. Grandpa did not show his self in the hospital.

Grandma still has to rest but I promise her that I will visit her soon with Becca.

I was on the sofa while grandma was taking her nap when nam called.

"Hello" I said

"Saroo! We can't find Becca" she said

I immediately stand up as I hear nam said

"What?! What do you mean you can't find her?" I said

"I was going to check her in her room I thought she was there but there's no Becca inside. I asked the nanny if they saw her and they said that she would go out earlier at 12 pm. They said that she's wearing a dress like going on a date" she said worriedly

"You calm down nam I'm gonna find her" I said

I ended the call and called my men to find her. I left the hospital for a while. I need to find her as soon as possible.

I am in the car now looking at the road.

"Where are you Becca? Please answer me? Where did you go?" I murmured in the car

I called her phone but she's not answering. I forgot to give her my number how can she call me if there is emergency.

I kept dialing her for 20th time and thanked God she answered.

"He..llo?" She said like she's crying

"Where are you now?" I asked worriedly

"Saroo... I'm just here in the park near the firm" she said

I quickly drove to the park. What happened to Becca..

I walked in the park and found her near the tree in front of the mini pond here.

"Becca" I called her she now turned around and she was crying

"Sarocha.." she said then start sobbing

I quickly went to her and hugged her..

"What happened to Becca? Why are you crying?" I asked

"I hate you where were you these days" she said and punched me a little

"I'm sorry Becca I just had to look after my grandma at the hospital" I said calming her

"I really thought you would forget about us" she said

"How can I forget you Becca. Tell me what happened? Where did you go?" I asked

"You're grandpa texted me I thought it was you. He wants me to leave you and he will pay me. I just need to get out of your life. He even threatened the baby's life." She said
Which makes her cry more.

Now grandpa is making his move. I won't let him do something on Becca and my child.

"That won't happen Becca let me finish it all"  I said making her sure.

"Stop crying I'm now here okay? I won't leave you" I said

Later on I invited her to go home. She nodded and we went to the car.

The nurse of grandma called. I answered it while driving.

"Hello." I said

"Ms. Chankimha I'm afraid you need to go back in here now. You're grandma.. please come as soon as possible" she said
