Aria slowly opened her eyes and the first thing her eyes fell upon was the quote written on the wall, she smiled looking at it.

Start the day with a smile.

She loved this quote so much she wrote it on the wall so that when she wakes up it should be the first thing for her to see.

The mere thought of starting your day with a smile being grateful of God that she is having a happy life made her happy. She believes if a person smiles at someone with no remorse or jealousy then that person can make his small world fill with happiness and he would make others beam with happiness as well.

Liya her best friend, says Aria's thoughts are way too positive. Which she always laugh at.

Stretching her arms Aria got up feeling her body ache due to sleeping in one position whole night. She gone near the window opening it for fresh air.

After awhile, she made her way to the bathroom. Taking a warm shower. As she got out of the shower making her way towards the bathroom mirror cleaning the fog on the mirror just to stare at herself.

Her plain black orbs stared back at her, her long black hair cascade around her it reached till middle back. Her fair glow skin which she adore more than anything their was this pink blush which made it look good that's it, if it wasn't there she was a average person to look at is what she thought.

She smiled at herself then took her brush and toothpaste.

As she continued to brush her teeth she felt something fluffy near her leg. She looked down at her cute little cat which she brought home last week.

She named it ginger due to his ginger like hairs or more like she didn't know what to name him. She never thought of having a pet until she saw ginger on the way home, he was abandoned by someone who left him inside a box.

It broke her heart when she saw him. Every passerby saw the cat who had a curious look in his face, how hundreds of looks passed on him just because he is sitting inside a box all alone but none thought about his safety.

Aria took the cat to her home where she gave him food then on ginger became a part of her small world.

Compared to other cats he is small and was thinner but she is glad he is gaining his weight back.

After finishing her morning routine Aria and ginger left for kitchen were she gave him food and ate herself an apple.

Leaving the ginger she left for her room and got ready for work. Wearing a green sweatshirt and dark blue jeans, she decided to leave her hair open. At last applying some lip balm. She felt herself ready for the day.

Her eyes widen when she saw the wall clock showing seven-forty in the morning. She hurriedly took her belongings and waved ginger a bye who looked at her confuse. After she got out of the apartment she locked her apartment door, she trusted ginger enough to not burn her home.

As she walked on the streets she smiled as her eyes fell upon the teenage couple holding each other hands, the town she lives wasn't much populated so whatever happens it would spread out quickly. As the sun shines brightly some people were walking in suits busy talking on their phones, some teenagers walking carelessly with headphones on with some weird rock music on it.

Looking at all this people made Aria realise that these people have there own story which one day they will tell to someone they love. But, at the same time it made her realise that she have none to say her story. An orphan who is mute, no one would listen.

Entering the cafe the aroma of coffee filled her nose. She made her way to staff room and got changed to her uniform.

"How's that ginger boy?" Liya came beside her changing into her uniform, asking about aria's cat.

"He's good, he's already comfortable with me" she replied with a smile making Liya smile back.

They went back Liya handled the orders and Aria got to the cash counter, both emerging in work.

As she smiled at the customer who left the cafe, Liya excitedly came up to her with a mischievous smile on her face making Aria frown in confusion.

"Do you think he will come today as well?" She asked making Aria's cheeks turn red on her question.

"I don't know. Why are you even asking me that?"

"Oh hush, just answer my question" she said.

Aria's whole face was now beet red biting her bottom lip as she played with the ring on her right hand finger.

Aria never saw his face, but he is handsome as Liya always describe and other workers as well. Everyone knew about him and it made her more shy, the fact he still came even after the cafe owner said him not come after knowing him coming for Aria.

The kind lady always looked after her like a mother figure. But after knowing he is no harm she never stopped him come.

"No, he won't" she replied but deep inside she knew he would come.

"Liar! You and I both know for the past eight months he always come here, sit at the same table and would order that disgusting black coffee then stare at you as if you asked him his life instead of money" Liya replied pinching Aria's cheeks.

Aria looked down at her words feeling shy which made Liya chuckle as she left her alone.

Soon when the clock showed four. One more hour till my shift ends. She thought.

As she cleaned the floor the main door bell chimed indicating a customer. Aria stilled knowing who it might be.

"He's here" Liya muttered. Confirming her thoughts.
