Aria stared at their hands in his grasp. He kissed her knuckles and looked up at her face.
Aria couldn't digest the words he left from his mouth.
Everything hurts.
The pain inside her heart made her unable to breathe, tears formed in her eyes. There were no words to escape from her mouth.
He held her like it was their last time together, which is.
It will be the last time they'll see each other.
Thinking about it made Nathaniel's heart ache badly, to the point it felt like he was dying. His eyes burned with tears on the edge of falling.
He kissed her knuckles again, feeling her warmth in his hands.
Aria snapped out of her thoughts upon feeling his lips on her hand. She immediately took her hand back.
Tears of anger fell from her eyes as she glared at him, her nose flared as she looked at him with hatred.
It's crazy how someone you once loved with everything is now the reason for every bit of hate your heart can give.
It's crazy how she never knew what hate is, but now when she does, it is towards someone she loves the most in this entire universe.
It's crazy how everything turned.
It's crazy.
"H-how can you say those words so easily?..." She questioned, her words breaking the painful silence which seemed to eat Nathaniel a lot.
"Trust me...it's killing me from inside...b-but it's for y-you're b-benefit..." Nathaniel mumbled avoiding eye contact with her.
He stared at her hands which were shivering. His heart pained as he imagined his life without her.
Everything about the future felt blank without her. Everything felt dead.
"WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE WHAT'S GOOD FOR ME OR NOT!!" She yelled while breathing heavily.
Nathaniel opened his mouth but nothing came out but silence.
"OPEN YOU MOUTH YOU COWARD!!!" She screamed.
Nathaniel looked up in her eyes which were filled with so much hate, sadness,tiredness and anger.
The eyes which once were filled with so much love and care are now having every emotion which kills a person slowly but painfully.
He's the reason for everything happening to her now.
It's all because of him.
"You're so selfish...you always think about yourself...I can't believe I loved someone like you...y-you always did what you wanted to do never once thought a-about me you fucking asshole!!!" She screams at him looking deep in those eyes which once made her fall head over hills.
Those eyes made her go crazy but now they make her want to kill him.
After what William did to her she felt used,dirty,disgusted by herself.
Everything felt numb to her.
But with Nathaniel she somewhat felt alive. But not anymore.
Now she really feels used,dirty, disgusted.
Nathaniel made sure to remind her of everything she's been through.
"Aria...you deserve the best and...I am not the best for you. I am nothing. I have nothing that can make you feel happy just for a little while." He mumbled as tears streamed down his face.
Aria shook her head in denial as cried.
"Look at me...I am nothing but a broken man. An asshole who always finds a way to h-hurt others....you...you a-always been the best thing that ever happened to me and will always be. I-I don't want to hurt you anymore. It's better to die than to see you cry my love."
Aria cried hearing his words. Nathaniel wanted to hug her, wrap his arms around her and protect her forever, his hands ached for doing it.
"I love you. I loved you with my everything only to get hurt by you. I regret ever meeting you Nathaniel."
I love you.
He held those words back from saying.
"I am sorry for everything I did. I am sorry for not doing anything for you...I-I am sorry. I made you cry every time we've been together." He sobbed.
The room echoed the sound of her cries.
He watched her cry. He was near yet so far to hold her in his arms.
He deserves not having her in his life.

Nathaniel came out of her room after she cried herself to sleep.
He never thought things would turn this way.
After losing his job and now his home, he has nowhere to go. He has nothing to give. He is nothing but a man with ill fate.
He realized he's nothing but a burden.
He will be the burden which Aria will carry her whole life in the name of love.
Love is not a responsibility, a burden.
Love is everything you never imagined it to be.
Love is everything you always craved for.
For Nathaniel, love is Aria. She is everything he always imagined to be with.
She is everything he craved for.
She is someone who will drive him crazy but also make him sane.
She is someone who will do every crazy thing.
She is someone who he kills for.
She is also someone he can't have.
