"All right, keep a lookout. We're behind enemy lines." JJ grabbed his gun as they pulled up to the country club where JJ works. The only place on the island with power.
"Yo, come on, man. Just put it back." John B whined as JJ admired the gun in his hands.
"What?" The blonde boy ignored John B. "You can never be too careful." He shrugged.
"Hey, I predict that bringing a weapon to a four-star hotel will likely cause more problems than they solve." The dark-skinned boy leaned up against the window on JJ's side of the van.
"Thank you, Pope."
"I swear to God, I'm gonna throw that thing in the ocean, JJ. Put it back." Kiara sternly demanded the boy as she climbed out of the van behind Scarlett.
John B grabbed the gun out of JJ's hands and threw it in a compartment then continued to climb out of the van, ignoring JJ who was scolding John B for grabbing the gun the way that he did.
"Can't forget my badge." JJ works at the country club, so he has a pass which is the only reason they were going. All though Scarlett could've easily snuck her friends in because she is a member of the country club, the Pogues like being extra. "Professional busboy." the boy dangled his badge around in the air as they made their way to the entrance.
"So, where are we going now?" Pope questioned as the four friends allowed JJ to lead the way.
"We're getting on the internet because only rich people have electricity right now," JJ explained to his friends.
"You know, we could've just gone to my house instead of sneaking through the back of the country club." Scarlett pursed her lips as she followed closely behind JJ.
"Things are more fun when you know you are not supposed to be doing it." JJ simply shrugged his shoulders as they entered the kitchen.
Once they made it past the kitchen, they wandered through the hallways until they finally arrived at the computer room.
"Sweet Lord, the internet!" Pope exclaimed as he immediately ran to a computer and sat in front of it. "I've missed you," he muttered to the computer, causing Scarlett to furrow her brows as the boy spoke to the computer.
"Let me get in there. Gotta check out my Insta models. My insta models meaning the bikini pics that Star posts." JJ began to attempt to push Pope out of the way so he could use the computer and log onto Instagram.
"Ew, pervert. Now I'm going to delete all of them." Scarlett shook her head at the boy as she watched his expression falter when those words came out of her mouth. She was trying to act as if the only reason she posted those wasn't to get JJ's attention.
"No! Please. I'm sorry! I won't stalk you anymore, I promise." JJ began begging her to keep the pictures up.
She couldn't help but laugh at the blonde boy. "I'm just kidding, J. I Look too good in those to take them down." She winked at the boy and a lump grew in his throat. He wanted to kiss her right then and there. She looked so perfect as she teased him and her laugh was so cute and her smile was so perfect. He just loved everything about her.
"Hey, guys seriously. Stop flirting. It's making us all uncomfortable. We have work to get done here." John B quickly grabbed Scarlett's arm and dragged her over to the other side of him, separating the two blondes. "I got the map." John B pulled out the large map and placed it on the table next to Pope.
"Coordinates, please?" The dark-skinned boy demanded as he sat in front of the computer.
Pope typed in the coordinates as John B listed them off to him. He pressed enter on the computer and the screen showed exactly where the Royal Merchant should be.
