"Uh." John B took off his bandana and handed it to Sarah. "I need you to push down, okay? Look, this is gonna hurt, but I need you to push down." Sarah gasped as John B pushed the bandana down on her bullet wound. "I'm sorry." He apologized.

"Ow." she let a few tears roll down her face as she held the bandana on the wound.

"I know it hurts. We've gotta stop the bleeding. Push down. Push down. Look, we gotta take this shirt off. I'm gonna push down. You take the shirt off. Okay, here you go." Scarlett helped Sarah get the shirt off. "Okay. Okay, lean back. Lean back. Just stay as still as possible. I'm gonna call Terrance." The brunette began to dial Terrance's number.

"Hey, it's okay." Scarlett let a few tears roll down her face as she held the bandana down on Sarah's wound for her. Her hands were covered in blood, but she didn't care. Her twin sister, her best friend was shot. "It's going to be okay. We're gonna get help." She assured Sarah.

"Did you get the gold?" Was the first thing that Terrance asked when he picked up the phone.

"Hey, look, we got it." John B nodded his head.

"All right! You did it!" Terrance and Cleo cheered.

"We got it, but listen, we have bigger problems. Sarah's been shot." John B panicked as he quickly told them what happened.

"What?" Terrance nearly yelled.

"Yeah, she's been shot in the gut. I need your help. We're up in the can field, a mile up on the left-hand side." The brunette boy explained to them over the phone.

"Where you at?" Terrance questioned.

"I'm not sure. I'll drop a pin. I don't know how to get here. Hurry." John B panicked as he spoke through the phone.

"We're on our way. We'll find you."

"Okay." John B hung up the phone and put it down, putting his attention back to his girlfriend. "Help is on the way, okay? Just stay with me." He told her.

After a few minutes, they noticed Terrance and Cleo pull their truck up to where they were. Scarlett and John B wrapped Sarah's arms around their shoulders to help her walk.

"Sarah!" Cleo called out as she and Terrance climbed out of the truck.

"I just texted you the address of a doctor! Tell him I sent you!" Terrance called out to John B and Scarlett.

"Okay, and it's a hospital, right?" Scarlett questioned as she and Cleo helped Sarah climb into the passenger seat of the truck.

"No. You wanna get caught?" He questioned her.

"I really don't give a shit, T. I'm not letting my sister die," Scarlett told him as she climbed into the passenger seat next to Sarah.

"He's better than any of the doctors in that shitcan. He's my guy. He got ya." He explained to them. Terrance leaned against the window and grabbed Sarah's hand as he spoke. "Sarah, look, you gon' be okay. Okay, baby? Just breathe, and relax. Everything's good." He soothed her as she panicked. "We're gonna meet at the wharf in eight hours. No more. It's hot as hell out there. My guys are good. He's gonna take good care of you."

"This is him, right?" John B lifted his phone and showed Terrance a picture of a man.

"That's him." He nodded. "He got you. He's a good guy." Terrance told them as he began to walk away from the truck.

"T? Thank you." Sarah whimpered out as a wave of pain shot through her body.

"We good, baby. Come on. I got you!" He assured the girl before running to the truck with the gold in it and hopping in the driver's seat.
