"Hey. Hey. Hold still. Hold still. It's okay. Where is it?" John B panicked as he let go of Sarah and ran over to Sheriff Peterkin who was lying on the concrete and bleeding out. "Where is it? Oh, my— I'm sorry."

Sarah was on the ground sobbing and Scarlett was standing next to her, her hair in a ball in her fist as she sobbed as well.

"Call!" The Sheriff began wheezing out. The bullet went straight through her chest. "Call for help."

"Hey. Wait." Ward ran over to John B when he grabbed the radio.

"Hey!" Rafe yelled, lifting the gun and pointing it at John B as a threat.

"Rafe, no! Rafe!" Ward began yelling.

"Rafe, stop! Get away from him!" Scarlett cried to her brother as he kept the gun pointed at John B.

"Don't try it, asshole," Rafe muttered out to John B.

"Rafe— John B, give me the radio." Ward bent down to try and grab the radio.

"No." The brunette boy shook his head.

"Come on. Give me the radio. The damn radio." Ward finally grabbed the radio and John B went back to trying to save Peterkin. "Rafe, I've got it. Calm down. Rafe put the gun down. I got it."

"Run." Sheriff Peterkin muttered out to John B.

"I'm not leaving you." He shook his head.

"Run!" She demanded again.

"I'm sorry." John B muttered to her before he stood up and began walking back to Sarah and Scarlett.

"Hey, where are you goin'? Huh?" Rafe began to yell at John B.

"Run." Sarah pushed John B Away and the brunette boy began sprinting away from the scene.

"Where you going, John B?" The eldest Cameron child went to chase after John B, but Sarah and Scarlett quickly stopped him.

"No!" Sarah yelled, pushing the boy back.

When Scarlett watched Rafe lift the gun again, she stood in front of it just as a shot was fired. It blew right past her, causing her to scream.

"Scarlett, what the hell are you doing? Move!" Rafe yelled as he continued firing the gun at John B.

"No! Stop it, Rafe! You maniac!" Scarlett charged towards her brother, grabbing his arm to try and grab the gun away from him. "Stop!" She screamed as Ward began pulling her away from Rafe.

"No! Please don't!" Sarah cried to Rafe as he continued shooting the gun towards her boyfriend.

Ward finally grabbed the gun out of Rafe's hands and the twins rushed over to Sheriff Peterkin who was still laying on the floor. "I'm sorry." Scarlett cried as Sarah grabbed the bandanna and held pressure to the gunshot wound.

"It's not your fault, sweetie." The woman wheezed out, attempting to put a weak smile on her face but failing.

"I'm so sorry." The twins continued sobbing as they stared at the dying lady.

"Gi— Girls. Girls. I need you to— I need you to get up." Ward bent down to their level.

"No!" Sarah yelled at her father.

"She's dying!" Scarlett sobbed.

"Enough!" Ward frustratedly stood up and yelled at his daughters.

"What is wrong with you?" Scarlett breathed out through her sobs.

"We're not going until the medics come!" Sarah cried out as she heard her father telling Rafe to take them home.

"I'm calling!" Ward lied to the girls, pretending to make a call through the radio system.
