Iris's P.O.V

My incessant alarm woke me up again, but this time I had a little bit more pep in me. Considering I have an in person interview with the owner of the most infamous casino in all of Vegas, I should. I turned off my alarm, which was set to 5:30, and hopped right out of bed. I'm not use to getting up this early, I usually work evening shift at the steakhouse. I had put in my two weeks notice with them about a week ago. I know, pretty reckless of me since I didn't have another job lined up right away. I can only pray that I get this job, otherwise I'm fucked.

I made my way to my kitchen and got a pot of coffee going. As I was waiting I decided to text Lia for her expertise in the fashion department again.
'Lia! Today's the big day! I need your help again in finding the perfect outfit!' I sent it to her and locked my phone back. I decided to go ahead and at least try to find something to wear in case she doesn't get back to me since it's so early. I quickly made me a cup of coffee and went back to my bedroom.

I eventually picked out a geo print top dress and carefully laid it out on my bed. I took a quick picture of it and sent it to Lia.
"I hope this will be okay."

Before I got dressed, I went to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup

Before I got dressed, I went to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I decided to straighten my wavy jet black hair and leave it down. I did a quick, light makeup look again. I went back out to my bed and grabbed my phone looking to see if Lia had texted me back. She, of course, didn't. I didn't expect her to but I had to try.

I quickly put on the dress and looked at myself in my full length mirror. It didn't look bad, at all. But it was missing something. I trotted over to my jewelry box and dug through it, looking at my options. I decided on a pair of gold colored, diamond shaped earrings and a small heart locket necklace. I went back over to my closet and grabbed the high heels from yesterday. After I put them on, I looked over myself in the mirror again and was satisfied with how it turned out. Maybe I'm not so bad at this. I grabbed some of my favorite perfume, Good Chemistry sugar berry, and spritzed some over myself. I walked over to my bed and grabbed my phone checking the time, 6:45. I still had plenty of time to get there.

I wanted to be early, rather than barely making it. Even though I made it right on time yesterday, I would've rather been at least thirty minutes early.
