Iris's P.O.V
I woke up to the birds singing. It was so quiet. I laid in my bed just listening to their melodies, until I had to force myself to get up and out of bed. It was already Friday. Yesterday came and it went just as quick. I just had to get through work today, both of them, and I could take a couple days to myself.
I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I put my makeup on afterwards. I fixed my hair just enough to where it was acceptable. I was tired last night, but I didn't get much sleep. My body didn't want to cooperate with my brain.
I wanted to wear something more casual today for work. I eventually decided on this outfit.

I was making my coffee when I got a text from Brendon. 'Louis is on his way to get you, he should be there soon.' The text read. I replied with 'Okay, sounds good.' With a smiley face at the end. I didn't receive any texts back from him and put my phone away. But as soon as I did, my phone started vibrating. It was my dad. "Hey, dad." "Hey baby, I got your text about your car. What exactly happened?" He asked me. "I'm not entirely sure, it just wouldn't start." I told him. "Well, maybe I can take it to my buddies garage and have him check it out. When would be a good time for us to do that?" He asked me. "I have to work Monday but we could go before I have to go in." I said. "What time does your shift start?" He asked me. "Twelve." I simply replied. "Oh, that gives us plenty of time to get it checked out if we leave early. I don't know if it'll be done by that time but we can definitely get it over there and looked at." He said. "That sounds just fine to me. How are you feeling?" I asked him. "Still not feeling the best but, I'll manage." "I'm sorry you're not feeling well." "It's okay baby, I'll be alright." "Okay, I'll see you then." I said. "See you then." After that I hung up the phone and heard a knock at my door.
I opened the door and was greeted by Louis. "Hello, Ms. Iris, are you ready?" He asked me politely. "Yes, let me just grab a few things." I told him. He nodded his head and I went to my kitchen to grab my coffee. I had my purse and keys in hand and walked out the door, locking it behind me. Louis and I both got in the car and we headed to the casino.
