Iris's P.O.V

Our taxi driver got us to the hotel in twenty minutes tops. The building itself was captivating with the whole exterior being a light shade of blue. We got our suitcases out and made our way to the doors and to the front desk to be checked in. We stood there for a few minutes until a lady with her hair up in a bun came over to us smiling.

"Hi! Welcome to the Novotel! How can I help you all today?" She asked politely.
"Hi, I had a reservation under the name Iris Blair." I told her. "It should be three different rooms."
"Give me just one moment." She said as she typed away on the computer.
"Ah! Yes, right here. Your rooms are all ready for you. There's free breakfast and WiFi. Room service is available from 12 am to midnight. We also offer a vista rooftop bar with an infinity edge pool. Along with the pool, we have the lounge bar area for whenever you'd like to stay in and relax." She said. "Here are your room keys, you'll be in rooms 232, 233, and 234. If you all have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to give the front desk a call."

I grabbed the keys and handed one each to Richard and Simon.
"Thank you so much." I said.
"No problem at all, enjoy your stay!" The lady said.
We all turned around and started walking to the elevator. We waited until we heard the familiar ding as it opened. We stepped aside to let the few people that were in, out, and quickly got on ourselves.
"I'm gonna get a shower and change into something more comfortable before we go." I said looking down at my clothes that were now starting to make me sweat.
"Yeah, I think we're gonna do the same." Richard and Simon looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

We made it to our floor and all stepped off, following the signs on the wall to our rooms. I got room 232. I stood at the door and slid the card out and into the key reader. The light turned green and I pushed the handle down, opening the door.

When I walked in, there was a king size bed with white sheets and blanket to match. It had the basics of any hotel room. Office chair and desk, table and chair, and a tv. The windows were tall, they went from the floor all the way to the ceiling, giving you a full view of the city. The bathroom was very nice too. I couldn't wait to get in and get a shower.

I put my suitcase on the footboard bench and opened it up, rifling through all of my clothes trying to decide on what I should wear to meet Julian. I'm glad I had the weather in mind when I packed, otherwise I'd be screwed. I decided on a short green dress and a pair of sandals, setting them on the bed for when I get out of the shower.
