Iris's P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open and I rolled onto my back, looking up at the ceiling. I grabbed my phone and saw that my alarm never went off. Realizing I slept thirty minutes past, I jumped up out of bed almost falling onto my face. I only had thirty minutes to get ready.

My dress was already laid out and waiting for me. I went over to my suitcase and grabbed all the makeup I'd need, taking it to the bathroom and sitting it on the counter. I threw my hair up into a messy bun, with some of my stray black hairs hanging out and started on making my face presentable.

I didn't have a lot of time so I went as fast as I could without messing anything up. After about fifteen minutes, I was satisfied with how it looked. It was pretty simple with the little time I had to do it, but it works. I took my hair down, letting it flow down on my shoulders. I fixed it up just a bit so it didn't look like I just got out of bed.

Leaving the bathroom, I turned the light off behind me and made my way over to the black dress. I undressed myself and slipped the tight dress on, shimmying it up and putting my arms in the straps. I sat down in the chair and put my heels on. I stood up and walked over the full body mirror, looking at myself. For only having thirty minutes to get ready, I didn't do too bad.

I gathered everything I'd need for tonight, my extra wallet I had brought, my keycard, and phone. As soon as I was finished getting it all together, I heard a knock at my door. I walked over and opened it to see Richard with Simon standing behind him. Simon was dressed in a suit and tie out of all things and Richard had on a pair of blue jeans with a top that screamed 'I'm a tourist!'

"Hey! Ready to go?" Richard asked me.
"Yeah, I think so." I replied.
"Let's go and get our party on then!"
I chuckled and walked out, shutting the door behind me.

I followed the two men down the hallway and to the elevator, stepping in. I leaned against the walls, going through everything in my mind to try to figure out how we're gonna make this work. It seemed like that's all this trip has consisted of. Me freaking out about how to get Julian to agree to this partnership. I hadn't planned on drinking so I could be on my A-game and ready for whatever was thrown at me.

The elevator opened and we walked out and out of the front doors into the warm, humid night. Instead of ordering an Uber, Richard hailed a taxi for us. We all got in, squeezing close together in the back of the cab. Soon enough we were off to the nightclub.

The taxi driver pulled up right in front of the building. He parked the car and turned his head to where he was facing us. I quickly dug in my purse to pay the man the fare. I held it out towards him and he took it with a smile on his face.
"Thank you little lady." He said.
I ignored his comment and opened the door, stepping out onto the sidewalk. Richard and Simon joined me shortly after. The taxi driver sped off, making the tires squeal. I looked over my shoulder and scrunched my eyebrows towards the yellow car.
