Silver was rather absent during the philosophy lesson. They stared towards the front of the lecture hall, not really listening to what was being said. Their thoughts were taken by the way Espio behaved after his talk with Honey. It had looked like he was angry with them. What did Honey tell him? Silver could hit theirself in the head as they realised they probably had said too much, but Honey wouldn't tell on them, right?

They constantly looked at the time, hoping this lesson would soon be over, so they could maybe talk a bit with Espio before they needed to go to detention.

Sticks was sitting next to them, watching them in fascination, as Silver never had been so quiet before.

When the lesson was over, Silver quickly stood up, "I will see you next week," They said quickly and sped out of the lecture hall, hoping that Espio would already be waiting for them in the hallway. They frowned as the hall was empty, until their classmates left the lecture hall as well.

They felt worried and quickly went to the library, to pick Espio up. When they arrived, they looked around but didn't spot him. With a frown, they walked past the rows of bookcases and suddenly saw Shadow in the row of history books.

"Hey Shadow," Silver said, "Do you know where Espio is?"

Shadow perked up. He turned and smiled at them, "Hey, Espio just left for detention. You probably just missed him." He said and looked down at Silver, who looked quite upset, and frowned curiously. "Is something wrong?"

Silver let out a sigh but forced a smile, "No, it's okay. I should probably go there as well."

Shadow nodded, "Will I see you after?"

"Yeah, I think so," Silver said a bit absentmindedly and turned around.

Shadow watched with a frown, "Well, good luck."

"Thanks," Silver said quietly back.

They went towards the classroom and looked inside, to see Espio already present. He was sitting by the window and staring outside.

"You're late," The teacher said sternly.

"I'm sorry, I was looking for Espio, but I see he's already here," Silver said and looked towards Espio, who didn't look their way.

"Take your seat," The teacher said and Silver did as he ordered.

They walked past Espio, hoping he would at least look at them so they knew he was okay, but he didn't. They sat down at the other side of the classroom and looked at Espio who wasn't giving them any attention. Silver could tell from his body language that Espio was deliberately not looking their way. They knew that something apparently was wrong as they hadn't seen Espio behave like this before.

They looked towards the teacher, who was concentrating on preparing the tests for next week. Their gaze moved to the clock. Carefully, they took a piece of paper and a pencil. 'Hey sweetie, is everything okay?' They wrote down on the paper and crumbled it. Silver let out a sigh and threw the piece of paper in Espio's direction, but the paper dropped and tumbled on the floor not even near Espio's table.

Silently, Silver grunted in frustration and wrote a new piece of paper. They looked at their cuffs and tucked them away again in frustration.I If they could use their powers, they would easily get the paper to reach his table. They tried again and missed. Silver rubbed their temples frustratedly.

After missing a few times more, they gave up and rested their head on the table, constantly watching Espio's silhouette, hoping that whatever was wrong, it could be fixed.

Their detention never felt as long as it did that day. The time slowly passed by and Silver could have sworn they had seen the second hand of the clock stand still often.
