Infinite's eyes widened shocked and watched how the thick liquid of the bars dripped down and hissed while steam escaped from the dark thick puddles that formed on the floor. He watched Silver who entered his cell. He gulped afraid and looked them up and down in shock, "S-Silver, you don't have to listen to him."

Mephiles leaned against the bars with his head resting in his hand as he watched them both, with a big amused grin planted on his muzzle. "Give me my gem, boy."

"Yes, Master," Silver said monotonously. Their stern eyes looked up at Infinite who took a step back. His breathing sped up as Silver didn't seem like theirself at all. Their eyes didn't look golden anymore, but light blue. Their stern gaze made Infinite shrink.

Infinite laid his hands on his chest to protect the stone. "T-this isn't you Silver. P-please, listen to me, s-snap out of it."

"Soooooo......" Sonic said to break the silence, as he was sitting next to John in the interrogation room, where they were waiting for Silver to join them. The silence between them made Sonic quite uncomfortable, so he thought he would start a conversation. "You come here more often?"

John looked up from his paperwork and raised an eyebrow, "I'm a lawyer," He answered and turned back to his paperwork, "Of course I come here more often."

Sonic chuckles uncomfortable, "Oh yes, of course," He said while scratching the back of his head, "And do you like to be a lawyer?"

"I like to help people and get to the bottom of the issue they are facing. But if you don't mind. I need to focus for now to get the right questions for Silver to see if the side of Miles does add to what Silver is experiencing."

"Yeah of course, sorry, not a problem," Sonic said. "Can I maybe help with something?"

"Do you have a master degree in law?" John asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No I don't," Sonic said with a sigh and leaned back in the chair as he got the hint. He nervously tapped his foot while he was waiting. Some how the cold atmosphere and the silence in the room made him very uncomfortable, it made him feel worried about Silver, knowing they had been here on there own for at least a full day. Knowing how vulnerable and emotional they are. But at least they don't have to be alone anymore, now that he was here, to keep them company. Sonic only hoped the cells itself wouldn't feel as depressing like this room did, but he suspected that probably wasn't the case. But who knows because Silver is still a minor, they maybe gave them a more friendlier cell. If there are any.

Sonic twisted his thumbs and tapped his foot while these thoughts were going through his head.

"Can you please-" John started to say irritatedly, but was soon interrupted by the sound of an alarm. Sonic perked up surprised as suddenly the door to the room which was open slammed shot and a clicking of the lock was heard.

"What the heck!?" Sonic pressed his hands against his ears to block out the high pitched sound. He stood up to try and open the door, but it didn't work. He looked confused at John who frowned confused. "What's going on?"

"A complete lockdown?" He said doubtfully and stood up to try and open the door as well.

"Have you ever experienced this before?" Sonic asked.

John shook his head, "I haven't."

"What does this mean?"

"Maybe it's just an emergency exercise? Or something is wrong."

Sonic knocked the door when he heard multiple footsteps running passed the door, "Hey what's going on! Let us out!" He yelled through the door. But nobody on the other side stopped to let them free or explain what was going on.
