Aris's P.O.V
I don't blame Y/N for what she's done. If anything I'm just grateful that she's found a way to live despite the world doing everything to kill her. I don't care what she's had to do for it. I don't care how many terrible people she's had to murder. She got rid of captors and people who torture others. What about that is bad?
Still, I heard her quiet sobbing last night. I'm pretty sure that I was the only one because I was closest to her, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to call her out in front of everyone.
Right now, the sun was barely up. I was wide awake though while everyone was sleeping peacefully.
Glancing next to me, I realized that wasn't actually true as Y/N was nowhere to be seen. Instantly, my heart started beating faster as a million scenarios of bad things that could have happened to her ran through my mind. I also wasn't going to wait around for them to be true. I had just gotten her back, and I wasn't letting her go again.
Without bothering to tell anyone where I was going I grabbed my bat and walked deeper into the abandoned mall. Gripping it tight in my mind, I had it raised just in case. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Stepping even further, I was directly under sunlight shining through a broken roof. Still looking everywhere for her, as I was about to move I heard shuffling. Keeping it raised, I turned towards the direction of the sound as I got ready to swing.
Before I knew it something was heard directly behind me. Turning around, before my weapon could make contact with them they grabbed it with one hand.
"Impressive. If I was a Crank I'd be on the ground,"the familiar voice I had missed so much complimented.
"Where were you? I thought something bad happened to you,"I admitted, feeling my heart calm down.
"I was taking a walk. I still am if you want to join me,"She offered.
"That sounds great,"I agreed, failing to hide my eager grin. She didn't acknowledge it as she stayed completely stone-faced. All she did was gesture for me to follow her. Without hesitation I stayed by her side as she lead me to who knows where. Not that I cared. I trust her with my life, and I absolutely was not about to question her.

It had been just her and I for a while now. The sun was getting brighter, and we were sure that some of the others were awake. We weren't worried about them though.
"Let's stop for just a little bit and have some breakfast,"She suggested, sitting on a stone slab. I sat on the exact same one, barely a few inches away from her. It was like deep down I had this fear that if I took my eyes off of her for just a minute she would disappear again. If that happened I don't know what I would do. I needed my friend. She was my only one. She's all I have right now. If she left again I don't know how I'd keep going.
"I'm not evil,"She suddenly spoke up as she handed me more canned beans. I accepted them as I looked at her.
"I know,"I promised.
"I lied though. Last night,"She admitted. Looking down, I saw the tears fill her eyes as she placed her meal by her feet. I did the same as I put my hands on her cheeks so she was looking me in the eyes.
