In the corridors of a prominent building in Seoul, the steady clacking of heels against tile echoed loudly as a young woman walked confidently down the hall. Employees scattered left and right, making way for the intimidating figure. Her appearance was striking: slim waist, dark brown hair perfectly styled, immaculately dressed in the latest collection from her favorite designer, paired with simple, yet elegant jewelry from a luxury brand so high end most people had never heard of it. The stylishly dressed woman passed by the awestruck employees, never once breaking her stride nor allowing her gaze to waver from the executive office at the far end of the floor.

One brave soul, or perhaps it was more accurate to describe him as foolish, plucked up the courage to offer the woman a greeting

One brave soul, or perhaps it was more accurate to describe him as foolish, plucked up the courage to offer the woman a greeting.

"Good morning Miss Im."

The woman's steps came to an abrupt stop. She turned slightly and zeroed in on the man that had been bold enough to call out to her. He shrunk a little at her intense gaze, quickly losing that courage he had so carefully gathered, and gave her a deep bow.

"Good morning."

Just as suddenly as she had stopped, she resumed her journey, not bothering with the needless tittering of the employees who were now in a frenzy because of her simple greeting. It was no concern of hers if they fell over at her feet every time she made her presence known at the company; she had much more important things to worry about.

She strode towards the office that was her goal and came to a stop in front of the desk positioned just outside the president's door where his longtime secretary Jang Nara was waiting for her.

"Good morning Miss Im," Nara greeted her

"Good morning Miss Im," Nara greeted her. "You can go right in. He's expecting you."

The woman gave Nara a polite smile and headed into the office. No matter how many times she entered this room, she never got over the urge to roll her eyes at the decor. It certainly wasn't suited to her taste.
