Jeongyeon woke up the next morning to an empty bed, but that was nothing unusual. Nayeon got up at god forsaken hours to start her day, a habit that Jeongyeon didn't care to share with her wife. She preferred waking up at normal hours like a sane person. The young woman stretched and groaned, releasing the stiffness from her body before groggily making her way to the bathroom. The sight that met her in the mirror made her pause.
"Damn," she uttered as her eyes traced all the red marks and scratches left on her body. Her wife had been something else last night, not that Jeongyeon was complaining. She turned to check her back and found long nail marks from her shoulders down to her waist. "I need to remind her to cut her nails," she mumbled absently as she stripped off her boxers and got ready to shower.
Fortunately Jeongyeon didn't have to go to work since the project she was working on at her company had been put on pause until a legal issue was resolved. That allowed her body time to let the more noticeable marks that couldn't be hidden fade away. She'd also have to have a talk with Nayeon about the unfairness of their arrangement. Why was Nayeon allowed to mark her wherever she pleased yet Jeongyeon was restricted to below her neck? It wasn't fair; Jeongyeon really, really wanted to leave her mark on that pretty, delicious throat of hers.
Her morning passed by in a rather boring fashion. Since Nayeon employed a housekeeper, there was nothing that needed to be cleaned. She had no desire to play games, and using the gym was out of the question. It only brought back vivid memories of a nearly naked and sweaty Nayeon riding her to orgasm on the weight bench. Seriously, how could she concentrate on working out when those kinds of images were playing on a loop in her head? The gym was a no go. The young woman instead wiled away her time watching movies and taking cat naps until her hunger forced her to get up and head to the kitchen.
She was in the middle of cooking her late lunch when the intercom buzzed, letting her know someone was at the door. Since she wasn't expecting any company, she assumed it was a delivery. She adjusted the stove to make sure her beef noodle soup wouldn't boil over then headed to the entrance. When Jeongyeon opened the door, she was greeted by one of the staff at their apartment building holding a beautiful bouquet of peach blossoms and white roses.
"Hello Miss Yoo, I have a special delivery," the young man said as he passed over the bouquet for Jeongyeon to take.
"Thank you." She suddenly remembered his name was Soobin.
"Have a good day ma'am."
"You too Soobin."
Soobin beamed at her recollection of his name and bowed deeply before leaving her. Jeongyeon closed the door and headed back to the kitchen, admiring the fresh flowers and smelling the subtle fragrance of the roses. Was this for her? Had Nayeon sent her flowers? The idea made Jeongyeon a bit flustered; she'd never imagined her wife to do something like this. Feeling a bit giddy, she reached for the small, ivory colored card hidden amongst the arrangement and unfolded the note.
