"Miss Im? We've arrived."

Nayeon was roused from her short nap by the gentle voice of her driver calling her. She shook the last remnants of sleep off and removed her sunglasses, placing them back in the small clutch  full of her essentials in exchange for a compact hand mirror to check her appearance. The young woman was satisfied to see that she was still presentable. In the meantime, Han had already gotten out of the car and made his way to her door, opening it for her.

"Thank you Han. I'll text you when I'm ready to go. Please be sure to take time and eat a proper meal."

The man smiled bashfully. "Of course Miss Im. Enjoy your meal."

The young woman always made it a point to treat her closest employees well. Whether it was her secretary, her driver, her junior assistants, or her personal bodyguards, she saw to it that they were take care of. That's how loyalty was built. If she was going to get to the top, she needed loyal people backing her.

Upon entering Palsun, Nayeon was welcomed by the inviting atmosphere of the high end restaurant. Known for its traditional Chinese cuisine, Palsun also boasted an interior that blended oriental and modern aesthetics. Nayeon had specifically chosen this restaurant out of respect for her company's new investors, hoping to help them feel at home here in Korea as well as foster a warm relationship. The hostess escorted her to the private dining room where her new investors were waiting.

Chou-Huang Lydia, president of Chou Enterprises one of the biggest realty companies in the Southeast Asia region, was the first person that caught her attention as she entered. Lydia had taken over the reigns of Chou Enterprises after her husband's bout with lung cancer. Once he had fully recovered, Mr. Chou had made the decision to keep his wife in the position after seeing how adept she was at running the company.
