A few blocks away, on the ninth floor of Yoo Industries, a familiar figure was drawing unwanted attention. Curious employees tried their best to catch a glimpse of the mysterious youngest daughter of the Yoo family. It was no secret that Yoo Jeongyeon liked her privacy; she had kept herself out of the public eye for most of her life, choosing to stay behind the scenes when it came to her family's business, but even she had to make appearances at the company when necessary.

Jeongyeon made her way to her sister's office, trying her best to ignore all the whispers and stares of their employees, but it was almost impossible to not catch some of their hushed words.

"Why does she always wear a face mask I wonder? I want to see her face."

"I saw her once."

"Daebak! Is she as pretty as they say?"

"She's so handsome."

"Please, she's not all that. Her sister is leagues ahead of her."

"Shut up idiot! Do you want to get fired?"

It wasn't anything Jeongyeon hadn't heard before. At least they weren't saying anything too terrible. She fidgeted with her face mask to make sure it was still securely in place once more, a nervous habit she had yet to break, before stopping at Joy's desk.

"Good afternoon Miss Yoo. I'm sorry, but would you mind waiting out here for just a moment?" Joy asked politely. "Your sister is wrapping up a meeting."

Jeongyeon just nodded in return and took a seat on the leather loveseat

Jeongyeon just nodded in return and took a seat on the leather loveseat.

"Can I get anything for you while you wait? Water? Coffee?"

"No thank you Miss Park," Jeongyeon answered. Joy smiled in return and went back to her work. Jeongyeon liked Joy. She was well mannered, sweet, and most importantly, never tried to overstep her bounds. She was one of the few employees at the company that respected Jeongyeon's need for privacy.

Jeongyeon pulled out her phone and scrolled through her messages to pass the time. The usual ungodly amount of TikToks and memes from her best bud Chaeyoung were clogging up her inbox, but she'd watch them later tonight when she had time. Besides a message from her other sister Soyeon, there wasn't much else to check. Jeongyeon sent a reply to her sister then opened up sudoku to complete the daily challenge. Joy grabbed her attention fifteen minutes later just as she was about to complete the difficult puzzle.

"Miss Yoo? She's ready for you now," Joy said.

Jeongyeon bowed politely to the secretary then entered her sister's office.

"Hi Jeong, sorry to keep you waiting. You know how annoying some people can be," Seungyeon said. "That meeting could've been an email."
