I was shopping in the grocery store, getting some things for the week since Lucas decided not too yesterday.

I was casually minding my business as I looked for the frozen mangos because Lucas had begged me to get some to make smoothies, Lucas was always annoying when he wanted something,
He was like a toddler trying to get the newest Pokemon card pack that was $29.99 bucks because companies are greedy. Totally not speaking from experience.

Back to the point, I finally found the frozen mangos, I was confused on why Lucas would want a cold and fruity smoothie in December but whatever I guess- Lucas was always werid sometimes.. I guess he gets it from me..

I put the mangos in my cart and continued grabbing the rest of the stuff

After I finally finished shopping I stepped out of the supermarket with 4 bags in each of my hand, outside was all snowy and beautiful. It was like one big blanket over everything.

It had also seemed like it began flurry a bit so I made sure to rush back to my dorm before the snow got too crazy since it said on the news there was supposed to be a snow storm in the area, good thing Lucas went home before it so then he wouldn't complain about being cold or bored.

I walked for a few minutes until I saw a familiar face, Ah yes, my "favorite" Walmart ginger.

He seemed like he was standing in the direction I was going and I didn't feel like avoiding him so I just kept walking
Until I saw him look at me and we made eye contact and for some reason my body instinctively froze like I was caught stealing something-

"Oh hi, Kyran." Alec had spoke casually, I straightened my posture and looked at him "Hello, Alec"

"What's with the heavy looking bags?"
Alec asked as he pointed to the 4 bags I was holding

"Oh, their just groceries"

"Wow, getting groceries a minute before a snowstorm is gonna hit, that's very smart"

I rolled my eyes at his comment

"Well, maybe if you didn't decide to make me stop and chat I would be at my dorm by now" I spoke in a annoyed tone

"No you wouldn't"

"And why do you say that?"

"Those bags are weighing you down, which means you're walking slower so you'll arrive at you're dorm slower"
Alec said casually with a hint of sass in his voice

"Let me help you" Alec walked closer and snatched 2 of my bags

"Hey! You can't just do tha-" I felt his figure on my lips "SHHHH just except the help "Kybear" I only sighed
"Fine, but don't call me that, it feels werid when someone other then my mom calls me that." I spoke a bit calmer as I readjusted the 2 bags in my hand to be more comfortable

"Fine by me" replied by a Alec with a smug smirk

I guess I was now walking with my enemy- or friend..??? or wait- was it bestfriend.... he did buy me a birthday gift and watch a movie with me when I felt extremely lonely- you know what? Never mind, however I saw Alec was now walking next to me as we made it too my dorm and went outside it seemed like the snow picked up just a bit. We both set the groceries on my counter and I started to put the cold stuff away.

"Do you need help?"
"No, there isn't a lot of cold stuff so I'm just gonna put those away and leave the rest to make Lucas do it since he didn't go shopping when I told him too" I said in a annoyed tone, I wasn't annoyed of Alec tho, I was mainly salty about lucas not doing his chores. Atleast it got a chuckle out of the redhead I guess
