Rating yhs characters+ranting :/

The title explains it all and I might basically rewrite some of the characters :D
(Also, if you have any opinions or other idea please comment them. I would love to read you're ideas :) )

Alec: 8/10. I feel like he was the most planned out character because of how much backstory we saw for him. I mainly think he was the most planned out because hes supposed to be Funneh's love interest which is kinda annoying but I can safely say we have all made a fake boyfriend character when we were younger and made them super emo edgy because we ALL were like that at one point but actually looking at it in the show it seems kinda weird because I feel like we could've seen some other characters backgrounds, The only other characters I can think of that we've seen their backstory and home life was Kyran but with the backstory stuff we've only seen like 2 or 3 clips of how Kyran and Alec became friends. I feel like improving Alec character would be hard tho because every way I can think of it just doesn't fit him or he isn't even recognizable. I also feel like he needed some more flaws/fears. His only "flaw" was his daddy issues, being broke and abandoning Funneh and the group randomly. He dosen't even need a big flaw/fear, let it just be something simple like a fear of the dark (my personal headcanon for him) or make him afraid of spiders, maybe he can be the type to not wash his clothes often which kinda complements him being broke because theres NO WAY that man smells good at all when he helps a blood thirsty murderer, spends his days in a bassment, wears the same clothes everyday and he probably doesn't shower often to save on water bills.

Felicia: 6/10, we never got to see a lot if her when she wasn't just calling Funneh and gold names or just bullying in general, I get that was the point of her character but I feel like she could've been written more like Regina George from mean girls because with Regina it was actually good and shes still iconic because of how Regina would actually do the bullying, with felicia it was just walk up to someone and call them a random name when a kindergartner could make a better insult. I know she was supposed to be stereotypical basic and dumb bully but it was just annoying to me most of the time. Conclusion? Felicia should have been more like Regina George because with Regina she was strategic about her bullying and did actually mentally/emotionally damaging things. I still love Felicia tho lol :)

Brittany: 5/10. Woohoo basic bully henchman that's basically a copy of insert bully but more annoying :I. I feel like a way to make her different from felicia or even other characters is actually show Brittany being insecure. This might be basic but I feel like a way to improve her character a lot more is to get rid of the 'Copypaste but worst' personality and show more of Brittany acting more tomboyish maybe??? To me brittany seems like the type to secretly like grunge and punk stuff so maybe when brittany talks she could shine some of that in what she talked about or how her character was designed while her still trying to fit in with the popular and pink girls at the school so then there could've been parts where we see brittany in a corner showing her real interests when shes alone but when felicia shows up she shoves it down so she wont lose felicia as a friend because shes scared of being a bully victim or being lonely.

Kyran: 8/10. BOY DO I HAVE A RANT FOR YOU- Okay, Kyran is my favorite character (if you somehow couldn't tell by my account) BUT I will not be biased and say that "Kyran is the best most pure boy ever" NO, I have a lot to say and starting it off: SEASON 1 KYRAN IS BETTER THEM SEASON 2 BECAUSE. In season 1 he was actually normal about the whole anime thing but in season 2 he was legitimately addicted because of the body pillow joke?? And the 2d girls joke?? That's an addiction and creepy because how can you love Gold or love in general when you're addicted to talking to an Ai that isn't even real?? That's gonna cause a lot of bad in you're relationship, if Kyran really loved Gold he wouldn't be talking to Ai and he would actually be putting in an effort instead of the waiting because if hes been waiting that long then he really needs to start hinting at liking Gold and giving up on Ai. I think season 1 Kyran was better because he actually DID put an effort by being Golds secret admirer and not doing the Ai thing because I hate to say it but that's just discord mod behavior :I but he wasn't creepy in season 1. Heck, he legitimately saved Gold from dying by running under anvils that could've killed them both or he even jumped into a dark hole and risked dying but in season 2 he can't even give up his phone because he needs to talk to an Ai and he can't jump down a fake VR world tower. like, pick a lane. ALSO Season 2 Kyran also seems like a toxic pick me boy and CREEPO to me because 1: He slanders prince for being around Gold 2: He acts super creepy in the boardwalk episode even tho he probably knew better and then basically blamed Funneh, Alec, Evan for it being their faults, yes it was kinda half but Kyran AGREEING to it even tho he knew it wasn't gonna end well is just dumb. And the whole time Prince seems like the better person. Yes, he had a LOT of fangirls and stuff but first of all: You don't see him actually dating any of them when we first saw them until he looked at Gold and genuinely seemed intrested and he actually treated Gold well and with respect.
To improve Kyran is to throw out that stupid 2d girl joke, throw out the body pillow joke and make him actually smart and brave And maybe even lower his addiction to anime and manga to a healthy amount and there is no way that man has a ton of anime figure because if he did he'd be broke because have seen prices for actually good figures?? Hes spending atleast $8000 a year on a decent figures which means ANOTHER red flag. Make him actually SMART about his spending. I think Kyrans only green flags were that he was good with animals, good with his younger siblings, had a good relationship with his parents. But his cons outweigh his pros because of what I just explained and none of his green flags have nothing to with love or friendships and stuff it's family related and animal related. When I said give characters more flaw/fears/insecurities I didn't mean this, his flaws/fears/insecurities need to be balanced better and rewritten. The only reason Kyran is my favorite is because 1: hes been my comfort character since I first watched the series (back then I didn't realize the red flags) and 2: I think I just like MY rewritten version of him better probably. Overall I can't say I hate him because hes been my fave for years and years and I just have an attachment to him and hes a comfort character of mine and has been since I first saw the show and he still is because whenever i draw him when I'm sad i feel better, I'm writing this at 1AM and I'm starting to realize that the reason I love Kyran so much is because I either see him as a older brother figure or I want to be him but better. If I wanted to be him that would be hard because I'm a female irl and I live in a religious household so UH-OH (I'm also stuck in an endless identity crisis. Yayyy :D)

Evan: 9/10. I wish we could've seen more of him in the series :( he was genuinely a good character and was probably the better candidate for Funneh because 1: his dad owns a pizza shop 2: he helps at the pizza shop 3: A MUSICIAN (I have a thing for musicians dont judge me) 4: hes good with his little brother. I dont remember any flaws he had but we never really got the chance to see any because of the little screen time he had. (Hes also hotter then Alec, sue me if you must but I'm clearly right)

Funneh: 6/10: As a character. She could've been A LOT better :I obviously since Funneh was young when her and gold first made the series there was gonna be a lot if problems but seeing her as a character as a whole there was probably a way better person to be the main character or even she herself could've been better because of example: She should've dumped Alecs ass because that's what I would've done if a random dude just LEFT ME AT A CONCERT ALONE! because there are SO MANY dangers when you're alone at a concert and at NIGHT???? Realistically there would've been creepers around following her or people playing could've easily manipulates Funneh to go backstage for "Free VIP". Thank the lord himself that Evan was there so Funneh wouldn't had been Alone and she could actually tell Evan where she was going so incase something actually happend she would atleast have another eye looking out for her.

Gold: 8/10. Basic pretty girl character but still good. :) I dont have a lot to say about her because I can't really remembered her character in the series besides that she loves pizza- which isn't that good because I feel like she should've been rewritten to be more memorable but I still love Gold :D.
