YHS rant (maybe theory??)

(I typed this all out after eating melatonin so sorry if some of it might not make alot of sense.)

A few months ago when rewatching YHS, i had a thought about the whole "love triangle" with Kyran, Meghan, and Sarah-san.

I began to womder.. what were the actual ages for Meghan and Sarah??
Bc when I was younger I always thought that Meghan and Sarah were atleast early twenties and I didn't think anything of it (bc I was younger and didn't know the concept of grooming and that being problematic)

(For those who don't know the term 'grooming' it is a word for that action of an adult basically flirting with a minor)

But then I started to wonder what Meghan and Sarah's ages actually were because we never see either of them in the schools.

We know Meghan was Valerie's bestfriend in japan but how did they become friends in the first place??

Because if she went to Yandere high with Valerie we would see Meghan in the school and Meghan wouldn't own a whole restaurant.

From what I remember, they've said stuff like her and Meghan going out and like jogging in japan but nothing else.

I began to think.. Meghan and Sarah might basically be a groomers. I know the closest we've seen them "in school" was like the sports stuff in season 2 but they were SELLING FOOD.

Maybe Sarah wasn't a groomer bc she never had any like actual character and was apart of Vengeance high stuff but with Meghan we see a whole lot of her.

I started to think that Meghan and Valerie were possibly long-distance friends as well bc I Meghan already had the whole restaurant and stuff in the mall BEFORE Valerie moved in to the dorms. Yeah, she was only introduced after but it most likely takes a while to actually buy a place for a restaurant then decorate and get all the materials you need to have it an actual business.

You could use the excuse of "Oh, Funneh was atleast 14 when her and Gold made the series they didn't know" but the thing is, Funneh and Golds (and the rest of the krew) parents owned a restaurant that they helped at.

Yeah, Funneh might still not know but If Gold was helping write the story isn't she like 2 years older then Funneh?? (Correct me if I'm wrong) so she would at least know and if not RAINBOW also played a part if the series so SHE COULD CORRECT THEM AS WELL.

Back to the main point
If Val and Meg are long-distance friends then Meg would probably have an easy path to groom Valerie bc they have trust OR if Meg doesn't like women she would have someone to defend her if she were to be accused of grooming a boy (*COUGH*KYRAN*COUGH*)

Bc we see her IMMEDIATELY going at him, not even asking his age ATLEAST before trying to flirt with him.

We also see the same with sarah in the date episode in season 1. And whenever Meghan sees Kyran we CLEARLY see the nasty way she acts around him to try and win him over.

I might go back to the episodes where she was featured (even if it was small mentions of her.) Just to see if I can prove my point further and if I do I might add to this if I get more info.

And overall Meghan and Sarah just gave me stalker vibes, mostly Meghan bc we see more of her but either way they were both creepy

I always felt unsettled by the way Sarah would call Kyran 'Suit and Tie'. I never liked how Meghan would basically DROOL from her mouth and the window whenever I watched the one scene in season 2 when Evelyn, Funneh and Gold are trying to get info from Meghan.
