A tip I'd like to share if you've been losing your fire for God is to ask yourself some questions.
1) What started bringing you further from God?
Go back to the root, sis. There is always a tumbling effect. What leads to the other? What did you start doing that slowly started quenching the fire you once had for God? Was it friends? Entertainment like books, movies, a new show etc? Was it an insecurity or trauma? Was it an unhealed wound? Whatever it is, detecting what started it is a good start.
2) What habits did you stop doing
Maybe you stopped waking up early to pray. Perhaps you haven't done a personal fast in a while. Maybe you don't listen to worship as much. Perhaps you had some healthy habits you stopped participating in. Maybe you allowed school and friends to take so much of your time that you've put your time with God at the back. Detect what were some things you used to do that helped you stay close to God that you are no longer doing.
3) The solution?
Get rid of those bad habits. Whatever caused that backsliding, get rid of it. It isn't worth it. If you've been really distracted lately, have a fast. Take a break from social media. Perhaps stop watching that show for a while or putting down the books. Maybe tell your friends this weekend you can't go out and spend some good quality time with the Lord. Those books can't be your world. Those friends aren't your everything. God is.
Spending time with God isn't based on circumstances, seasons, or how we feel. Even if you're in the middle of exams or during a painful season, don't let anything stand in the way of your time with God.
Do everything possible to get your relationship with God back, sis.
