"I'm sorry please give me one chance I needed the money for my brother!" She screams while sobbing uncontrollably and yet I can't gather the morals or humanity to care about her pleas. Mainly because she's a liar, she doesn't even have a brother.
I can't help but laugh at her excuses. I'm a reasonable man but there's two things I hate, thieves and liars . Which is pretty hypocritical because I'm a liar. I should probably show that I still have some compassion for people and let her go out of the kindness of my heart. But the last thing I did out of the kindness of my heart was take this bitch of the streets and let her work for me and well, we see how well that worked out. It reminded me exactly why I let go of useless feelings like compassion.
"Let me get one thing through your thick skull . I don't believe in second chances ." I say , tapping the barrel of the gun against her forehead just to make sure the point really gets across.
"I'm sorry!" She cries loudly and I cringe slightly at the noise. Yeah that's gonna give me a headache.
"See I don't think you are." I say softly , casting a glance at Kai , my right hand man who's standing beside me.
Kai's father was a friend of my dad's . Unfortunately he died when Kai was only 7 and Kai had somehow ended up living with us a year later after he lost his mother too.
"Kai do you think she's sorry?" I ask him and Kai grins mischievously. That bastard and his annoyingly charming grin.
"Hm I don't think she is." He says teasingly and it's my turn to grin slightly.
"We don't think you're sorry." I tell her teasingly and she cries harder. "Oops my finger's slipping." I say Innocently , pulling the trigger. The sound of the gunshot rings throughout the room and her body falls onto the floor, a bullet between her eyes.
Finally some peace and quiet, I swear that bitch was trying to make me go deaf with all her incessant crying. I turn towards Kai, tucking my gun back into my waistband.
"Clean this up before her gross blood stains my floors." I order and he nods.
"On it." He says and I move towards the door. "Oh by the way you have a call waiting for you. It's the police, they said it's important."
"What do those assholes want now? Is it not enough that I pay for their salaries?" I grumble annoyed and Kai shrugs slightly.
"They said they found something." He says and my body stiffens slightly. "Seems important."
Fuck.
"Kai clean this up." I repeat and he nods in response as I quickly walk out of the basement. I rush to my office, calling them back. My hands are almost trembling with impatience.
"Tell me what you know now." I say strictly as soon as they answer.
"We found her." They say immediately .
"Where the fuck is she?"
