It's now close to 4pm and everyone was still waiting for Isaac to formulate a plan on how to get on board the USM Nova in space. Isaac was sitting quietly with his legs folded and eyes closed. Felicia sat with him while everyone else just sat in the van to wait. And then Matt got curious about Isaac's relationship with Dr. Jessie.
Matt: Hey. Why did Dr. Jessie come after Isaac in the first place.
Tanisha: That demon lunatic is obsessed with Isaac like all the other demons.
Matt: Yeah, but why? I mean, why him?
Tanisha: Because she wanted to use all these insane, deadly methods to cure him. We killed her mutant freak after she let it loose on us. And you know, despite how she is nuts, it sounds like she generally wants to help Isaac.
Kevin: What exactly did she wanted to cure him of?
Tanisha: I....honestly don't know. She never really specified what was wrong with my brother. I always guessed it's because she wants to become his doctor and wants this to play out as a dramatic scene with her being the star of the show.
Clover: Weird. But I don't think anything is wrong with your brother. Unless you count how he's not as jolly as his little sister.
Everyone chuckled a bit. And then Isaac stood up after coming up with a plan. Him and Felicia hopped inside the van and then Isaac drove them down the ruined street. Since the van has hover thrusters, the drive wouldn't take so long.
Tanisha: Alright, so you've got a plan?
Isaac: Mostly. Going to the mega mall will be the first priority so that we can restock on supplies and ammo. As for the Nova, the only way to reach it is with a shuttle or a spaceship and flying at warp speed. And we have to somehow fly it ourselves, obviously. Pam, I don't suppose the military has something that can help us with that?
Pam: Yeah, we have attack and transport shuttles in the hanger bay. I used to pilot military personal to the Nova and across states. Once we get to the base, I can pilot us on board to the space colony at warp speed. Assuming the protocols are still the same.
Kevin: Just leave it to me if there's any technical problems, I'll hack right through it. I used to hack military files and sell them to the highest bidder. No offense.
Pam: None taken. But we won't be able to travel warp speed without working the refueling station to refuel the ship. And that's another problem because I never had to do any damn refuels, I just flew the damn ship.
Clover: The refueling station? My scout master took me and the scouts up there for a field trip once! Leave it to me, I'll show you where everything is, no prob!
Felicia: It's just like you said, babe. We can make do with what we have.
Everyone was feeling confident but a little afraid at the same time. But they won't back down. And Isaac could tell that everyone was curious as to why he chooses to listen to dr. Jessie in the first place.
Isaac: Look, I get what you're all thinking. But Dr. Jessie isn't like other demons. Trusting her is the best way for me to find out what she knows about me. Who knows, maybe she can explain why I can't die.
Kevin: We hear you, Isaac. But we're all worried about you. That demon doesn't give off friendly vibes like Garth does, she seems more deranged. And narcissistic.
Isaac: I know. But she might be the only chance I have to get some answers, I've felt it since I've seen her laboratory. Matt, I wouldn't blame you if you have doubts about me.
Matt: Oh no, I believe you. Absolutely. In fact, I'm curious to find out what exactly is going on and how you're involved.
Clover: Uhh, guys?! Do you see that tall building heading right for us?!?
