Isaac, Pam, and Felicia were still sailing through the flooded city. Thankfully, there weren't any demons sighted in the waters. But then everyone got spooked by Pam's radio turning itself on. It was another Death whisper.

Crew member: Sir, we've found an enemy battleship crashed on shore.

General: Fucking Russians. But how they did know about this base?.... God damn it, it's the Russian members of our crew!

Crew member: Sir.... you can't be serious.

General: Serious enough to shoot those fucking traitors!

Crew member: You can't execute your own men.

General: They're spies for the Russians, they're a threat to our security! Am I supposed to ignore that battleship? This ship is my command! I am God here; you will follow my orders.

Crew member: You have no proof these men our spies! They're as much as Americans as you and me!

General: The hell they are. If internment camps were a good idea, then it's a good idea to shoot down spies on this coast.

Pam tried taking the batteries out of the radio to see if it would work. But the voices of the dead still kept coming from the radio. So she settled with tossing the radio in the water. Isaac could tell that she was bothered by it.

Isaac: A penny for your thoughts?

Pam: My squad told me stories about a general who executed his own men after accusing them of spies with no evidence and no trial. And when he was due for court-martial, he shot himself.

Isaac: Guess even soldiers fall prey to evil. And you can bet that the incident took place here in a Dead Zone.

Pam: I've seen my fair share of hell out in the fields.

Isaac: Trust me, this will be much worse than that.

Eventually, they reached the center of the Drowned Ruins. The flood was too deep to see the flooded streets, but they could see some of the flooded buildings tall enough to be seen. There were at least four scattered boats with no one on board and their stuff left inside. Pam pulls the boat over and grabs her plasma rifle.

Pam: Alright, we're here. Be on your guard, the demons could pop up anywhere and you won't see it coming till the last second. We're in their territory now. Some of these poor souls didn't stand a chance.

Felicia: I could be wrong but some of these demons may not be dumb enough to show their faces from the water. This is literally like waiting for fish to take the bait.

Pam: That's why we're not waiting. I have some scuba power suits in the create, it's better than scuba gear. The suits will allow you to breathe and move normally through the waters.

Isaac: Wait a minute. You want us to actually dive into the flood just to kill them all? I was planning on killing them as they came to us.

Pam: Why did you come out here if you weren't prepared to do something terrifying? We've gotta march to the hornet's nest, and that's underwater. When it's time to return to the boat I'll activate my suit's beacon...

Felicia: Look out! Look out!!

Felicia: Look out! Look out!!
