Three weeks have passed by since everyone made the mall their home. They haven't seen any demons thanks to all the military turrets on the ceiling. And every once in a while, survivors would come to the mall for supplies, but Maige refused to let them use it as a shelter. And as a bonus, eventually everyone around the world have adapted to the apocalypse. People are either fighting back or making fortresses to keep the demons out. It's still deadly for all the kids and teens of the world. But it's not impossible for people to survive.

Duke and Kyle spent their days playing video games and eating lots of snacks. Of course, Tanisha makes sure that they don't go overboard. Especially if they try to do something crazy, like starting fires.

Tanisha would spend her time doing sword practice, cooking, cleaning, and watching after the boys. She's not a maid, but she doesn't mind since it gives her some clarity during the end of days.

Matt would run the pharmacy, even though no one really needs medical help. He'd spend his time studying medical work so that he could be more of a doctor than a medical scientist. Garth just sits still unless she's given an order from Matt. All the while drinking blood packs and eating raw meat.

Kevin is either doing maintenance on the mall or hacking the satellites to keep an eye on the world. The man is always finding ways to keep his hands busy. Pam just works out in the gym to stay on top, even though her body is augmented with nanites. But whenever they're alone, they would kiss and have sex in secret. Neither of them could confess their feelings in public just yet.

Clover armed herself with a bunch of gear to make her an even better scout, as well as being able to be stealthy. She also reads good books, setting up movie night, takes the time to see the sights on the roof.

Isaac is always on autopilot when socializing. He comes in to eat, use the bathroom, responds when someone talks to him, and then goes back on the roof to sleep in his tent. He's used to being outside since his home is in the woods. Felicia is always next to him since she dedicated her life to love and worship him.

Right now, Isaac was gazing out the window at the mall lobby and staring at the city. He kept expecting danger even though they've been safe for nearly a whole month. Matt showed up feeling concerned about him.

Matt: Everything alright, Isaac?

Isaac: Everything's fine. Just keeping an eye out just in case.

Matt: It must be really hard for you to lower your guard. We've been very blessed for nearly a month.

Isaac: And that's why I don't like it. Turrets or not, we're bound to be swarmed by demons trying to bust in here and kill us. It's only a matter of time.

Matt: Nothing lasts forever, I know. But let's just appreciate the small things and be grateful to be alive.

Suddenly the alarm systems around the mall went off. Someone or something broke inside. Pam, Kevin, and Maige were the first ones to come running in the lobby while armed with rifles.
