The clock was now 10pm and everyone was still safe and sound inside the top floor of the flooded penthouse. Tanisha cooked hamburgers and fries for dinner while Clover was playing video games. Since it was getting late, Pam came back inside and locked the door.
Pam: Smells pretty good. You always cook dinner?
Tanisha: Pretty much. I used to babysit a lot of kids, so cooking for them was one of my jobs.
Pam: I'm impressed. And that's a nice sword you have. Ever thought about getting a sword with laser linings or a laser sword?
Tanisha: Nah. My sword is deadly enough, trust me. Pure titanium steel.
Pam: You augmented with cybernetics? Any nanites?
Tanisha: Nope, not one tech in my body. I never cared for cyber upgrades. Machines can fail, swords can't. No offense.
Pam: None taken. Just so you know, I'm not some Supergirl just because I have nanites. I'm like 3rd place of Captain America. But it's good to have you with us.
Tanisha: And it's good to be accepted.
While those two were talking, Matt, Kevin, and Isaac were all chatting in the living room while drinking beer. They were talking about what happened on the prison island. Felicia was sound asleep next to Isaac.
Kevin: Damn, man... You guys were so lucky to survive all that danger. And all those poor people scared for their lives.
Matt: Agreed. And this Dr. Jessie sounds like a mad scientist. If she means to help you, I'd love to speak to her and get her opinions.
Isaac: I don't even know what she means, exactly. But what about I said about our world being merged with a fiery dimension? Aren't you curious?
Kevin: We've kinda figured that out earlier. At first, it did look like the apocalypse from Hell, but this is far too weird and supernatural to be related to the bible. Me and Matt crunched the numbers, and a parallel dimension makes the local sense.
Isaac: How so?
Matt: I'm not exactly religious, but I know for a fact that if this was related to Lucifer, there is no way that God would sit by and let this happen. That, and Lex Trueman told us everything on her radio.
The boys continued their talk while drinking their beer. Isaac was enjoying himself, even though he's not really social.
Tanisha: Aaieeee!!
After hearing her little sister scream, Isaac stormed to her location so fast to save her. Felicia woke up followed Isaac, along with the others.

He found his little sister in the bathhouse, backed against the corner with a nurse demon standing in front of her. The demon looks human but has pale skin and stitches on her face and arms. Like a Frankenstein nurse. She didn't attack, she just stood still while drinking a blood pack and bored. Isaac was seconds away from shooting the nurse demon in the head. But Matt quickly jumped in the way to block Isaac's view.
