With everyone safe and sound in the mall, everyone could finally relax and enjoy themselves. Everyone but Isaac. He was in the pharmacy with Matt, Garth, and Beth. Beth needed to know about his experience with the Hell Lord and Succoria. She still had mental illness, but she's no longer hostile to herself or others.
Beth: Try your very hardest to describe your experience with the Hell Lord.
Isaac: Nothing to tell, really. The Death Orb turned into a Hell Lord, and I killed him with my heat vision.
Matt: And could you explain how you knew to do that?
Isaac: I just knew. It came to me like instinct. It happened after unlocking the secrets of the Forbidden Knowledge stored in my head.
Beth: And are you still yourself? Is your sanity still intact after unlocking its secrets?
Isaac: I'm still me, Beth. No side effects. But I did meet Succoria after she snatched my astral spirit all the way back to Earth.
Matt: Great Scott! That's terrifying! What did she do to you?
Isaac: Nothing. We just talked for a while. And she made it very clear that she doesn't care what we do, or whether or not we survive, or how many demons we kill. To her, we're all just ants in an ant farm.
Matt: How evil. Can you describe what she looked like?
Beth: We've both seen her after reading the Forbidden Knowledge. She looks like a demon goddess, and make no mistake, she's very old and very powerful. But she doesn't care about anyone. Not even after what happened to my mind and my...
For a moment Beth was starting to hyperventilate from her sanity wavering. But she took deep breaths to calm herself down and maintain her sanity. Everyone was really impressed by her efforts, especially Matt.
Matt: How fascinating. Might I ask how it feels to be so intelligent for your age?
Beth: It feels like being an adult in a child body. Everything is clear to me. Reading the Forbidden Knowledge has its good moments. And for the record, I don't have dementia. Just a fractured psyche after reading the entire book.
Isaac: Where exactly is the Forbidden Knowledge? I keep hearing about it, but I've never actually seen it.
Garth: Is okay. Garth kept book in brown bag.
The demon nurse brought Beth the brown bag. And inside the bag she pulled out the Forbidden Knowledge. It was a black colored book that was glowing with a red aura. Everything about it looks like an evil spell book. Just staring at it felt wrong.
Beth: Here it is. The Forbidden Knowledge. Sucorria's handiwork. It's called The Forbidden Knowledge because its true name cannot be described by the human tongue.
Isaac: What exactly does it do?
Beth: It contains unimaginable dark power. Dark and forbidden knowledge that was never meant for us humans to know. Just reading one page could grant you great power at a great price. Like Isaac's heat vision. Like Dana's telekinesis. Like enhancing my brain capacity at the cost of driving me insane.
