Riding the elevator from the sewers to the Enforcement Sector went smoothly. No danger in sight. But they've reached the floor of the Enforcement Sector, seeing it in good shape with nothing wrong. No blood, no bullet holes, no bodies, absolutely no danger has ever made it this far. Even the lights were fine. The door to the rest of the Enforcement Sector was locked up with a thick titanium door with six bolt locks. It's a blast door.
Pam: Welcome to the Enforcement Sector, guys. Most secure location on the Nova.
Isaac: And how much you wanna bet that Dana is already inside? Kevin, can you do anything about that door?
Kevin: This is military tech. I can't use my neural mods; I'll have to hack it open manually.
Felicia: And how long will that take?
Kevin: Well, it won't be a picnic. It'll take me about five minutes just to bypass the firewalls.
Now everyone walked through the lobby to reach the door. Pam offered to carry Beth since Isaac was getting tired. But Felicia was the first to notice the hangar bay at right. She ran inside and everyone followed. That's when they found a functional teleport pod, inside a small room. Felicia ran inside to see if everything was working.
Felicia: Oh, my gosh! This teleport pod is online and functional! This one is capable of beaming us to shuttles!
Pam: You sure about that?
Felicia: I'm looking at the circuits, they work! This means we can use this to teleport back to the shuttle and rejoin our friends!
The girls went inside the pod to get a closer look. Isaac and Kevin looked at each other and they both nodded. Both of them knew exactly what to do. Isaac quickly slammed and locked the door from the outside, while Kevin worked the console to teleport the girls away. Pam placed Beth down on the floor and ran to the door, along with Felicia. They knew exactly what the boys were doing, and they didn't like it.
Felicia: Isaac! Isaac don't do this, you open this door, right now!
Isaac: Sorry, Felicia. You're injured, and Beth needs to be saved. This has to be done.
Pam: No! Kevin, don't you dare send us away without you, don't you dare act like a hero! You open this damn door; you open it right now!
Kevin: We're sorry, Pam. This is the only way to make sure you all get out of here alive. The odds of us surviving this mission are getting more and more slim, but me and Isaac can make sure you don't go down with us.
Pam: I don't give a damn; you open this God damn door now!
The pod was warmed up. Now Kevin simply had to type the coordinates for their shuttle, sending the girls to safety. Pam was starting to show her true colors, of how she has a crush on Kevin. But Felicia refused to accept this. She even went far as to shoot the door open, but the plasma gun wouldn't penetrate. Isaac placed his hand on the glass, his way of getting her to pay attention. She looked at him shedding tears, and Isaac's apathy refuse to let him shed a single tear.
Isaac: You've always been my girl, Felicia. The only girl who I want to stand by my side till the end. I know I don't really express my feelings, or ever have feelings.... But I do love you.
Felicia: Baby, please! Please don't do this!
Isaac: You take care of my little sister for me. You make sure to protect her with your life. Kevin, start it up. Call Matt and give him the heads up.
Felicia: Isaac, no!! Isaac, please, I love you!! I love you, please don't do this, please!! ISAAC!!!
The teleport pod started up, beaming Felicia, Pam, and Beth to the shuttle with Matt and the others. Isaac and Kevin succeeded in saving three people's lives. So now all that was left to do was tell Matt, Clover, and Tanisha and say their final goodbyes. Matt responded to the call and was worried sick after not hearing from them for hours.
