Chapter 24. The Mad Queen strikes

Everyone was now in the train station. The place was still in one piece since no one has been here yet. And Isaac was the first to see something surprising. He found Felicia alive and well. She and Beth were seen up the balcony of the second floor.

Isaac: Felicia! It's me!

Felicia: Isaac!! Thank God, I found you! Please don't be mad at me, I tried so hard to find you after you disappeared, I really did.

Isaac: It doesn't matter, at least I've found you. Where have you been?

Felicia: I got trapped in the factory when I tried to find you. There were so many demons, and they killed everyone hiding there.

Isaac: Well, it's good that you're alive. Kevin, can you do anything about the trains?

Kevin: Already on it. Just give me two minutes for my neural implants to get through.

Beth: Hello, Isaac.

Finally, Felicia took noticed of Beth's presence. And she doesn't know the whole story like everyone else.

Felicia: Hey, who exactly is this kid and how does she know you?

Isaac: Her name is Beth, I know her. She's coming with us.

Felicia: What for? Look at her, she's all twitchy.

Isaac: Felicia, I need her to be alive. I mean it.

Kevin was nearly done hacking. But suddenly all the power in the train station went out, allowing the emergency power to turn on. There was no ambush or demon encounter, just a power outage. And Isaac knew this wasn't done by chance.

Beth: It's dark! She'll find me in the dark!

Felicia: Shut up! The power just went out, it'll come back on.

Kevin: No, someone cut the power on purpose. I think life support on the entire Nova is shut off, too.

Pam: Can you turn it back on?!

Kevin: No, this is way too big for me, my neural implants aren't designed to affect entire space colony.

There's a bunch of confusion going on and no one knew what was going on or why. Then suddenly the big screen in the train station turned on, showing Dana inside a security room with blood on the walls and screen. Clearly, she killed everyone there.

Dana: Our two favorite subjects, Isaac and Beth, heh heh heh! I knew it was only a matter of time before you reach the train station. But you'll find the train inoperable now.

Isaac: Are you really that insane? You turn off life support to the space colony, there's thousands of survivors out here!

Dana: The USM Nova is already beyond my list of places to sacrifice to Succoria. And I can't allow you and Beth to escape. Auf Wiedersehen, Isaac.

After that she turned the screen off. And at the same time Katherine called everyone on the communicator. Except this time, she wasn't alone. Robert was with her, and he was not looking very happy. Mostly because of what's been happening on the Nova.

Katherine: Hi, guys! Me again and I have Robert here. And he's not very happy at all.

Robert: What exactly are you guys doing to my space colony?! First the poison in Hydroponics gets cleared, and then a huge fucking transport ship crash near the comm link building, and now all of the power is out! You guys are as dangerous as those cult lunatics!

Kevin: Hey, we saved everyone's lives! We all nearly died trying save the space colony from doom, you'd all be dead if it weren't for us!

Robert: And that's exactly why I haven't arrested you guys. But why did Dana shut off life support? What did you do to piss her off so much?
