A lot of time has passed away on the USM Nova. Isaac woke up with his head banging and his vision kinda blurred. He then noticed that he was no longer on board the wrecked transport ship. He was laying on a hospital bed inside a hospital, no idea how he ended up here. All around he saw blood stains and bullet holes in the hospital. But what's really bothering him is that Felicia, Pam, and Kevin were nowhere to be seen.
Isaac: What in the hell? Felicia? Felicia where are you?! Pam?! Kevin?! Guys, where are you?!
He called their names, but it was clear that they're not here. Nobody was. So Isaac got up and started walking the halls to find his way out of the hospital. He saw blood everywhere he went and lights flickering at some areas.
In one of the rooms, he found more dead members of the Chosen, dead from shooting themselves in the head. Isaac grabbed one of their phones to see the last calls. But he quickly stopped after over hearing Dana speaking to her crew.
Dana: Listen carefully, my fellow members, heh heh heh. I want everything in motion for the Death Orb, and I want the key targets captured. If you fail, you will deal with me. Now get to work, Ihr nutzlosen Würmer.
It sounded like Dana got her hands on the Death Orb, But Isaac doesn't know how. But he needed to find everyone else fast. Upon reaching the hallway he could see more dead bodies, teenager patients. He reached the library he saw so much destruction from guns and explosions. Looked like everyone was trying to make a last stand here. Isaac tried calling his friends but still no answer.
Isaac: Damn it, where the hell are you guys?
Beth: Isaac, over here! Remember me, my name is Beth! My name is Beth, remember? Do you remember?

Behind him was a 12-year-old named Beth. There was something wrong with her. Her eyes looked pale, just like her skin. And for some odd reason she's showing strong signs of mental illness, which is a little unusual for a child. Twitchy, hallucinating, paranoia and unexpected extreme behavior. And she seems oddly smart for her age, like a natural scientist. Something is seriously off about her, and Isaac knows it.
Isaac: Who are you?
Beth: It's the spells, Isaac. They used their spells to make us forget. But it's all coming back!
Isaac: I don't know what you're talking about. Why are you talking to me?!
Beth: Quickly, come on! Come on, they're after us!
Now the little girl just ran ahead without explaining herself. Isaac ran after her to catch up. She ran out of the hospital and inside the mega mall across the street. And the mall was even more of a mess from people looting the place. But finally, Beth stopped running and was looking around for anyone looking at her. But the whole place was seemingly empty. Isaac wasn't sure if she really saw someone or if she's hallucinating.
Beth: Okay, you're still alive? We can't talk long; I think they're tracking our radio signals.
Isaac: What exactly are you talking about?! Who's after us?
