Lucy's POV
Tanner outlined my mark with a knife. The cold metal tip traced every detail of my mark. Then he started to cut out my mark. I screamed as I felt my connection to Carter breaking. When my mark was completly off, he grabbed me by my hair and threw me into the cage. Then he grabbed the shackles and attached them to my wrists and ankles. I felt my neck and there was still blood trickling from the cut.

Carter's POV
I tried to communicate with Lucy again. She wouldn't answer and I started to get worried. Suddenly, my chest started to burn. I screamed in agony from the pain. I felt my connection with Lucy start to break. Someone must be removing her mark. My chest kept on burning for about an hour. Then I blacked out.

Tanner's POV
Once Lucy was back in the cage, I shifted and I ran to Carter's pack house. My wolf wanted to see our mate. When I got there, I shifted and I saw that my mate was sitting on the couch. Luckily the lounge was empty.
"Hey babe." I said. She started too look at my body and I could tell that she liked what she saw.
"What do you want?"
"I came for my mate."
"What happened to Lucy?" I could she was jealous.
"I don't want Lucy, I want you." I said as I walked over to her and I kissed her neck. I felt her shiver at my touch.
"How about I take you back to my place and we get to know eachother?" I offered.
"Okay." Then I grabbed her hand and took her to my house.
