Matt's POV
We were finally able to defeat the Midnight pack. Revenge is sweet. I killed everyone in that pack. Or so I thought. Tanner my son and beta came into my office.
"Hey dad."
"Hello son, how can I help you?"
"Dad we found the body of the alpha and his family. Everyone except his daughter." My eyes must've turned black because my son's eyes grew with fear.
"What?! I want you to go and search every pack. She has been gone for days. I want her here alive! Do you understand?!"
"Yes Alpha." He said as he walked out of my office.

Lucy's POV
Last night was amazing! Carter and I completed the mating process! When I woke up I felt very numb. Carter was asleep and he had his arm wraped around my waist. When I tried to get free, he wouldn't let go. Wow, he was protective even in his sleep.
"Carter." I whispered.
"Mmm" he said.
"Let me go."
"No, no ones gonna take you away from me."
"I'm just gonna go take a shower."
"Okay." Then he released me. I grabbed the blanket to cover my body. When I pulled the blanket, Carter fell off the bed. I laughed.
"Not cool." He said as he got up. I grabbed a pair of jeans a blue, one shoulder shirt, and my blue converse. Then I went into the shower. I put on the strawberry and kiwi scented shampoo. Then I heard the door of the bathroom open.
"I thought you could use some company." Carter said as he entered the shower and closed the door. Then he kissed me and pushed me against the wall. The cold tiles pressed against my back as Carter started to kiss me with more passion. Sparks flew up and down my legs and my arms. Then we pulled apart. We took a shower and when we got out we changed and then we went downstairs.
