Carter's POV
When Lucy opened her eyes they were red. I gasped. Did this mean that my mate was a vampire? I yelled for a doctor. When she came into the room she ran a couple of tests.
"Well it appears that Lucy is a hybrid. Which means that she's half werewolf and half vampire. Also, she is pregnant with twins. Both girls. One is a hybrid and the other is a werewolf. When she wakes up call for me."
"Thanks Doctor." I said as the doctor left. I couldn't believe it. How can it be that my mate is a vampire? And one of my babies is a hybrid? This doesn't make any sense. Either way I'm going to make sure that no one hurts my mate because she's a vampire. No matter what she is, I'll love her either way.

When I woke up my vision was normal.
"Hey babe" Carter said. Then he called the doctor. When the doctor came into the room she had a smile on her face.
"Lucy, it seems that you are a hybrid. You are half werewolf and half vampire. Also, you are pregnant with twins. One is a hybrid and the other is a werewolf. Congradulations." I gasped.
