Hey guys! I'm so sorry for the late update! I was just busy with school and I had writers block. Hopefully this chapter is a little longer.

Lucy's POV

I could tell that Carter was thinking hard by the way his jaw clenched.

"Doctor, when will I be able to go home?" I asked.

"Well, after we run a few tests to make sure that you and your babies are okay, then you can go." She said. Then she left the room. Normal werewolves go through a 6 month pregnancy. Since I'm the mate of an alpha, my pregnancy should last 4-5 months. Suddenly the door opened and a nurse that looked like she was in her 30s came in. Probably to run the tests. When she was finally done, she said I could go. I was so happy.

"Come on babe." Carter said as he grabbed my hand.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He said as he pecked my lips. Then he grabbed my hand and we got into his red mustang. I saw the forest surrounding us disapear as we entered the city. Suddenly, Carter stopped at the airport. Then, he went to the back of the car and pulled out two suitcases. He handed me the green suitcase and we entered airport. It was huge and there were people going in all different directions. I held onto Carter's hand as he led me to the front desk. The lady looked like she was in her late twenties and her hair was in a bun.

"Private plane for Carter Hanes" Carter said to the lady at the front desk.

"Right this way sir." She said as she led us to a terminal. Then we entered the private plane. We had to wait a couple minutes for the pilot to get ready and start the plane. Soon, the plane started to take off. I looked out the window and I could see the sun setting. Luckily, I had brought my ipod and I put it on shuffle. Soon I closed my eyes and I fell into a deep sleep.

Violet's POV

It's been a day since Lucy returned to the packhouse. My brother had my mate in the dungeon. I don't kniw what the problem is, he's my mate. Carter said that he was going on a trip so I'd have to wait until he gets back to tell him that Tanner's my mate. I've gone to see him whenever I can. Jake is running the pack until Carter gets back. I decided to tell him instead. I walked into the alpha's office and I knocked on the door.

"Come in." I entered the room and I saw Jake in Carter's chair.

"Hey Violet." He said as he got up and gave me a hug.

"Hey." I said as I hugged him back.

"So what can I do for you?" He asked as he sat back down.

"I want to ask if you could free Tanner."

"Sorry I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"Because Tanner and his now dead father kidnapped Lucy. They also cut off her mark and they beat and cut her." I was shocked, how could my mate do such a thing.

"Oh well then nevermind then." I said as I left the room. I decided to go down to the dungeon to confront him. When I got there, the guards bowed and they opened the dungeon door.

"Violet!" I heard my mate scream as I entered the dungeon. I walked over to his cell.

"Violet I'm so happy to see you." He said as he reached in between the bars and gave me a hug. I pushed him.

"What's wrong babe?"he asked.

"Don't call me babe! I know why you're really here!" I yelled. I could see him become pale.

"You kidnapped Lucy! It was you! My brother's mate and future luna! You could've killed her! She's like a sister to me! I hate you! I Violet Hanes reject you as my mate!" I screamed as tears ran down my cheeks.

"Violet let me explain!" He said. I just turned my head and walked out of the dungeon. The whole entire time I heard him calling my name.
