He was now out of sight when she closed her door. As she did, the tears flowed again making her weak and slump to the floor with the door behind her back.

Chicky appeared and ran towards Vicky. She just hugged her tight. She didn't know what to say. She heard it all. How he revealed his true feelings for Alana, how she managed to have a happy-for-you tone of voice, how she was able to pretend that there's nothing wrong.

Vicky just sat there sobbing.

"Chicky, he was so happy. I don't know how. I felt na hindi siya naging ganon kasaya pag ako kasama niya. Chicky, I will always be the best friend. The best friend that will never leave him in times of his heartbreak, in times of his sorrow." Vicky cried harder.

"Vicks. Mas okay na yun. Di ba? Kasi what if naging kayo nga, pano pag nagbreak kayo? Edi nasayang yung friendship niyo. At least he's still there. Hindi siya mawawala. Kasi all you have is friendship that can overcome any problem. Alam ko sobrang sakit. Pero you have to forget him. Really. Kesa naman sobra kang nasasaktan tulad ngayon. You have to let him go. Vicks makinig ka sakin. Please. You'll just hurt yourself if you continue on loving him. Wag kang gumaya sakin."

"What are you saying Chicky. Dapat nga ako gumaya sayo eh. Kasi natago mo yung nararamdaman mo. It wouldn't kill me to continue loving him."

"Vicks! Please! Magkaiba tayo ng sitwasyon! Mahal ko si Joey at mahal niya ko! Pero ikaw? Magtatanga-tangahan ka pa rin ba? Alam mong hindi ka mahal ni Max! Why would you squeeze yourself sa kanya? It will only make you're feelings hurt Vicky! Please! Just trust me!" Chicky said still hugging her tight.

They stayed like that for a couple of minutes. The sun was slowly setting.

"Vicks. I'm gonna sleepover here. Okay? So that I can check on you from time to time." Chicky said as she moved away from her.

"Okay. You know you're always welcome here." Vicky said.

Chicky got her phone and dialed up Joey's number. She told him that she would be spending the night at Vicky's house. Joey noticed the worry in her voice and agreed. She hung up the phone and immediately talked to Vicky.

"Vicks, don't worry about it okay? Wednesday pa lang tomorrow. You don't have to see him until Thursday. Okay? I'm sure everything will be fine." Comfort ni Chicky.

"Okay. Kakayanin ko ito! Hehe! Walang kwentang problema lang yan!" sabi ni Vicky happily pero halatang sad pa rin siya.

She noticed it. "Tara na nga matulog na tayo." Sabi niya kay Vicky.

And they both prepared to go to sleep.

The next day, Vicky was the first one to wake up. Wednesday na. She nudged Chicky beside her and immediately Chicky woke up.

"What's the matter? Anything wrong?" sabi niya na worried pa.

"Ha? Wala noh! Gising na! Tara shopping tayo!" sabi ni Vicky happily.

"What's wrong with you? Kahapon humahagulgol ka tapos ngayon ansaya saya mo? Ako muna ah?!" naguguluhang sabi ni Chicky as she got up and proceeded to the bathroom.

"No prob basta ba bibilisan mo ah?! Pati kinalimutan ko na yung nangyari kagabi. So don't think about it na okay? Kelangan ko pumunta sa trabaho ng may clear mind." Sabi ni Vicky with a smile.

"Yeah! Teka diba sabi mo magshoshopping tayo? Bakit ngayon magtatrabaho ka na?! Labo mo rin ah?" sabi ni Chicky inside the bathroom.

"Onga. Pagkatapos magshopping, punta na ko trabaho." Sabi ni Vicky.

"Okay. Sabi mo eh."

After an hour, both of them are already finished. They went out of the unit and went inside the elevator.

Magsasara na sana yung elevator when a hand stuck in. It was Vicky's neighbor.

"Oh. Hi Daniel! Good morning!" Vicky said smiling.

"Good Morning, Vicky!" he said smiling widely.

PAUSE

At sino na naman yang si Daniel? Bagong character? Ano ba yan?! Hindi na ata matatapos itong storya ko! Anyway! Si Daniel eh ang napakacute na unit neighbor ni Vicky.

PLAY

"Who is HE?" Chicky whispered.

Daniel went in and pressed the CLOSE button. He turned around and smiled.

"Shoot! Babae ka san mo nakilala yang anghel na yan?" she whispered again.

"Uhm, Daniel, Chicky. Chicky, Daniel." Vicky introduced them to each other.

"Hi!" Daniel said with a smile.

[Kainis naman! Napaka anghel nitong lalaking ito! Pwedeng pwedeng FAFA! OMG! Kissable lips! Maputi! Tsinito! OMG! Nahulog ka ba sa langit??] sabi ng utak ni Chicky.

"Hi! Nice meeting you!" Chicky replied matching his smile.

"Nice meeting you too!" he replied still smiling and faced the front.

TING!~

The elevator opened and the 3 went outside.

"Uhm. So pano. Kita na lang tayo uli maya! Got to go na eh! Chicky right? Nice meeting you ulit!" sabi ni Daniel.

"Same to you!" Chicky replied. And Vicky just smiled and they went their separate ways.

"VICKY!" sigaw ni Chicky. "Sino yun? Ha?! Kaw ha may hottie palang nakatira sa tabi mo tapos di mo man lang sinasabi??" sabi niya habang papalabas sila into the hot atmosphere.

"Ha?! Ah si Daniel. Hehe. Eh hindi naman kayo nagtatanong eh."

"So..close ba kayo?" usisa ng overly excited na Chicky again.

"Ha? Uhm.. kinda. Hehehe!!" sabi ni Vicky na medyo nagbublush ng konti.

"Teka. Gusto mo ba siya? Bakit ka nagbublush?" usisa pa rin ni Chicky.

"Hindi ah! Cute siya oo. Pero di ko alam kung gusto ko siya. Max nga ako diba?" sabi ni Vicky.

"BOBOKS ka talaga! Andyan na yung grasya! Kunin mo! Wag mo hayaang makuha ng iba! Sige ka baka ako kumuha. HOT pa naman si Daniel." Sabi ni Chicky na nang-iinis pa.

"Aish! Chicky! May Joey ka na noh?! Hala ka pag narinig nya yan!" pinaalala ni Vicky.

"Fine!" sabi niya as she hailed a taxi.

Meanwhile, let's see kung anong ginagawa nila Apple.

"Gahd! Hindi pumunta dito si Chicky! Ano naman kaya iniisip nun? Grabe ha magdamag tayong naghintay di man lang siya tumawag?!" sabi ni Apple na nag-iinit na ang ulo.

"Oh. Chill ka lang Fuji. Baka nagsleepover yun kay Vicks." Sabi ni Bubbles.

"Onga naman. Or baka naman nakatulugan tayo. Hehehe." Tawa ni Kat.

"ARGH! Chicky!!! Asan ka na ba?? Nakita mo na ba si Vicks?" sabi ni Apple na nanginginig sa galit.

"Tsk! Apple! Wag ka nga mangharass! Uhm.. Di ba may trabaho si Vicky later? What time nga ulit yun?" sabi ni Kat.

"..mga 5pm. Alam ko hanggang 10pm shift niya." Sabi ni Bubbles.

"Pupunta tayo dun maya!" sigaw ng galit na galit na Apple.

"Anong oras na?" tanong ni Bubbles.

"Ha? Uhm. 9am. Anong gagawin natin hanggang 5pm?

"BAHALA NA SI BATMAN!!" muling sigaw ni Apple.

Wow galit na galit ka Apple ah?! Kela Vicky naman.

"Dito na lang po kami. Eto po yung bayad." Sabi ni Vicky kay Kuya Manong Driver.

"Okay!" sabi ni Kuya Manong Driver at kinuha ang bayad nila Vicky. After nila makababa the taxi sped away.

"Oh san na tayo pupunta?" tanong ni Chicky.

"Ehhhh, di ko rin alam eh. Ah! Lam ko na! Punta tayo Salon." her face lightened up when she said Salon.

"Okie." At naglakad papuntang Salon.
