She really didn't want to hear this. Hindi siya prepared ngayon. As in. Mentally at emotionally she was not ready. But she has to. After all, she's his close friend."Oh. What about it?" she said in a bored tone.

"I've found her." he said smiling.

[He found her. he really did. And he's not joking. His eyes say it all. Who am I kidding? I don't own him. And it will never be.]

"What? You sure? You found her?! What's her name? Where did you meet her?? I'm so happy for you!" she ask those questions as if she didn't mind her heart breaking.

[Napaka galing mo talaga Vicky. Sige lang. Just keep it to yourself. After all, alam mo naman na mangyayari ito diba? But you just kept your eyes closed.]

"It was during the guitar camp. There's this awesome girl that knew how to play the guitar. I was impressed. I mean she was better than me! Her name is Alana. And guess what? She goes to our school! She said that she will be transferring this year. She's also our batch mate!!" he squealed.

"Ssssshhhh!!!" the lady before them hushed him.

"Oops. Sorry! My bad." But he quickly looked at her still his eyes full of glow.

"Hahaha!" Vicky laughed quietly. She couldn't take it anymore.

"Max. I have to go to the ladies room. I have to pee. It gives me the creeps." She said as she stood up.

"Aryt! Pero wag ka matagal dun ah. Baka tuluyan ka nang maging isda..hehehe.." he teased again.

"Aish! Whatever!" she said habang hinampas si Max ng kamay and headed for the ladies room.

Tears rolling down her cheeks she entered the room. Looking around, she was thankful that there's no one else inside.

"Bakit ako ganito? Alam ko na naman na mangyayari ito eh. Pero bakit ngayon pa nangyari kung kelan hindi ako mentally and emotionally prepared? Why now when I learned that its hard to let him go. When I learned that he's everything to me.." and sobbed into tears..

After about 10 minutes of crying and letting out all her feelings inside, she went back to their seat.

"What happened? Ang tagal mo! Kala ko naging mermaid ka na. Or other fishy creature." He still teased.

"Ang yabang nito!!!" she said as her true self emerged again. Or else that's what we thought.

"Let's talk about Alana later okay? I want to finish this movie eh." she said smiling.

"Ok ok! I'll be happy to tell you all about her!" he said smiling as he looked at the screen.

[I thought that he would give me that smile. The smile I wanna see in him. Or at least his loving and caring eyes. Akala ko yun na yung kanina eh. Hindi pala. Umasa na naman ako.] Vicky thought.

She tried to concentrate on the movie. It was already in the climax but she still didn't pay attention to it. Her mind was still in disagreement with her heart.

The movie came to the end. People were already standing up and preparing to leave the theater. She was still in contact with her seat. Max noticed that Vicky was not moving.

"Hey. You okay? That was a funny film!" he said, then continued, "Hindi maganda pakiramdam mo noh?" and touched her forehead.

She just swatted away his hand. " Uhm, yeah! Ang sakit ng tiyan ko eh. Kanina pa. Kaya hindi ako makaconcentrate sa movie." Biglang alibi nya para lang hindi mapansin na tinabig nya ang kamay nya.

"Uhm, I see. You wanna go to the hospital?" Max offered.

"No! it's okay! Besides we'll be able to meet them outside right? Pati kailangan maging okay ako kasi may papatayin pa ko eh." Vicky said as she remembered what happened.

"Ahahaha! Sinabi mo yan ah? Sabihin mo lang sakin kapag hindi mo na kaya." He said and he extended out his hand in front of her.

She stared at it not knowing what to do: to take it or not to take it.

[if I don't take it mahahalata ako.]

She took it and let him help her get up to her feet. They walked towards the entrance door with his arms wrapped around her as if she can't walk on her own.

Outside, the others were waiting impatiently. When Prince saw Max's hands on Vicky's waist, he immediately spread out the word. The group rejoiced thinking that they did a good job.

Vicky shot a look at all of them and said something to Max that made him let her go. She walked dangerously towards them and the group felt the cold aura that she's emitting.

"WHY DID ALL OF YOU SET US UP?!" Vicky shot an angry look on all of them.

"I- I didn't do it! I mean I just followed whatever they planned!" Chicky said at nagtago na sa likod ng lalaking pinakamamahal niya. Samantalang si Joey naman ay nangangatog na sa takot.

"Aish! Vicky Just be happy you know." Sabi ng bolang Mark.

"Anong sinabi mo? Be happy? I'm not HAPPY!!" Vicky shouted.

Bubbles, Prince, Apple, Kat and Todd burst out laughing.

"Okay guys. Tama na. Tapos na eh. Vicky kekwentuhan mo kaming mga girls later! Ha?! Hehehe!" sabi ni Kat.

"Wala namang dapat I-kwento eh.." she said quietly. Napansin ni Chicky na medyo weird si Vicky. But she just remained quiet.

"Oh Shoot! I have to go! Late na ko for my shift!" Vicky said as she looked in her watch.

That was a lie. She didn't have work today.

"Guys bye! Mark alam kong ikaw may kagagawan nito. May araw ka rin! Text text na lang ah?!" she said as she turned her back on them and started walking.

"Meron noh! July 10 ang araw ko! Tandaan mo yun! JULY 10! BIRTHDAY KO! Ahahaha!!" sigaw ni Mark.

"Aish! Mark, tama na! Nagcecreate ka na ng scene dito. Well, since isa sa'tin eh bumukod na, hindi na tayo makakapag bonding ng maayos. Let's just meet up on Thursday okay?" Chicky announced.

"Okay! Sige alis na ko, since ganito rin ang nangyari." Prince said.

"Ako din! May pupuntahan pa ko eh!" Max said smiling. At tuluyan na siyang umalis sa ibang direction.

"Wala ka talagang kwentang lalaki!" sabi ni Apple at binatukan si Prince. "Wala na si Max! Wala nang magkukwento kung anong nangyari sa kanila! Aish!" dagdag pa niya.

"Fuji di ko kasalanan yun ah?!" Prince stated.

"Aish! Bahala ka na nga!" Apple said.

"Ako na kakausap kay Vicky." Chicky volunteered.

"Hindi pwede dapat kasama kami ni Kat at Bubbles." Apple said.

Buti na lang at si Mark, Todd at Joey ay nag-uusap-usap at hindi nila maririnig kung anong pinag-uusapan ng mga girls. Boys talk ika nga.

"Guys, there's something wrong. As in wrong. Remember? We taught her the work cheat?" Chicky pointed out quietly.

"Work cheat? Oh yeah! She said that she has work today! But I know that she only works MWF! Matalinong babae!" Bubbles said.

"Ah. I get it now. We'll meet up at my house later okay? Without Vicky first. Chicky make her kwento. Kelangan natin magplano. Later ha? After mo puntahan si Vicky, Chicky." Apple said in an authoritative voice.

"Okay okay!" they all chorused.

"Hoy! Kayong tatlong lalaki. Magshoshopping lang kami ah? Mauna na kayo." Bubbles smiled.

"Ha?! O-okay." Joey agreed for the three of them and started to walk.

Meanwhile, umalis na si Chicky and started to look for Vicky. Buti na lang high-tech na mga cell phone ngayon! May GPS na! She got her cell phone and just by looking at the screen she was able to find Vicky.

She went to Vicky's unit because that's what her phone told her and when she arrived, knocked on her door.

Vicky opened the door and her eyes are puffy and red.
