chapter 7

Tuesday morning, Chicky woke up because of the headache. She got up and was surprised that a towel fell down on her lap. She got the towel and looked at Joey. She smiled.

“Thanks, Joey.” she said. She smiled even broader when a beautiful idea came up in her mind. She immediately but quietly left her room, took the bathroom (magsipilyo, umihi, and stuff) and went to the kitchen.

“Hmmm.. may egg at bacon. Pwede na siguro ito!”

She cooked food for Joey. When she finished, she went upstairs with food in her hands and went to her room. Binaba niya yung tray and kissed Joey in his cheeks. Si Joey na himala nagising ng dahil dun asked “Why? Okay ka na ba? Do you still have fever?” and felt her forehead.

“For taking care of me last night.. That’s my thank you gift. Nagluto ako hehe..kaso hindi perfect tulad ng luto mo pati egg at bacon lang yan. Alam mo namang medyo grade 1 ako sa pagluluto.” She said.

“Thanks, but you didn't have to do this” and he hugged her. ” Sana ginising mo na lang ako. Umupo ka na, baka mabinat ka pa.”

“Okay! Kain ka na! Ayy teka, kukuha lang ako ng tubig.” Sabi ni Chicky.

“Sabing upo ka na lang eh. Ayoko na. Di na ko kakain, tigas ng ulo eh.”

“Ayy! Uupo na! Sayang ang pagod ko noh kung di mo kakainin yan! Hmm.. onga pala... Joey? Nagsasalita ba ko kagabi?” sabi bigla ni Chicky.

Biglang tumigil sa pag kain si Joey. Naalala niya yung mga sinabi ni Chicky kagabi. “Oo..”

“Hala! Anong narinig mo?!” kinabahan siya bigla.

“..Chicky nagkita ba kayo ni Christian kahapon? Kasi kilala kita kung wala kang iniiwasang tao hindi mo maiisip na sumugod sa ulan.” He said quietly.

“Ha?! Ah eh hindi!”

“Okay. If you don’t want to tell me its fine. I thought relationships mean trust.” He said quietly.

<aba grabe ka rin mamblackmail ah?! – Chicky >

“Ano kasi.. nagkita kami sa store.” Bumigay na rin at nagsabi ng info.

“Oh tapos? Sinaktan ka ba?” he asked.

“Hindi pero tinry niya mag-explain.” She replied.

“Ano sabi?”

“It was just a game. All of it.” mahinang sabi ni Chicky.

“Talagang walang hiya yang lalakeng yan!” nagalit si Joey. ”Gusto ko na talaga patayin yun!

Natameme si Chicky. Ang boyfriend niya nagkakaron na ng criminal mind. <nako joey patingin mo na yan – apple>

Teka bakit si apple bigla bigla sumusulpot? Diba asa States yan? <nag YM siya sakin sabi niya ipatingin na daw si joey – vicky> ay okay..hehe..

They both ate their breakfast quietly. Nung matapos sila nagprisinta si Joey na siya na daw maghuhugas ng plato. At siyempre di palalagpasin ni Chicky yun kasi minsan lang maging mabait si Joey at nag oo na lang.

Joey gathered the dishes and proceeded downstairs to the kitchen. When he finished washing the dishes, he went up to look for Chicky in her room. Then he knocked..

“Yeah?” sagot niya. He opened the door and asked,

“Wanna watch some DVDs?”

“Okay!”

They went to the entertainment room and Joey prepared some DVDs to watch. May Fantastic 4 part 1 and 2, Stormbreaker, Thunderbirds, Peter Pan, Aquamarine at iba pa.

“What do you want to watch?” he asked her.

“Bahala ka” was all her reply.

“Ok..” tapos kinuha yung Fantastic 4 part 1. They watched the movie as if hindi na uli mapapalabas yun. When suddenly may tumunog. Yup. And its becoming a pain to their ears. Ayun. Na-decipher ni Chicky kung ano ba yung tumutunog. Cell phone ni Joey. And its even the freaking theme song of Indiana Jones.

“Damn! Joey! Sagutin mo na nga yang telepono mo! Indiana Jones pa! Argh!” banat ni Chicky.

“Aish! Buti nga ako Indiana Jones eh ikaw Sailor Moon! So childish! At least ako cool! Ahaha!” banat ni Indiana Jones addict as he flipped his phone.

“Excuse me! Sailor Moon ang message tone ko hindi ringtone!” sabat ni Chicky.

“Yo!” sabi ng kausap niya.

“Sino ‘to?” he asked.

“Tol! Todd ‘to! Ano ba yan?” he introduced himself.

“Ah..bakit parang iba boses mo?!” he asked naguguluhan pa rin sa nangyayari.

“Huh? Hindi ah.. Anyway uy punta kami diyan ngayon ah?” he said.

“Fine! May magagawa pa ba ako??” he retorted.

“hahaha! Love you pare!”

“Eeew! Wag please! Hindi tayo talo! O sige na bye na!” aba bastos na lalaki? Bye kagad? Anyway.

“O who’s that? Tanong ni Chicky.

“Yun? Si Todd. Punta raw sila dito.” He simply said.

“Oh. I see. Bakit daw?”  tanong niya. “Ewan.” He said. 

“Oh Well..”
