Chapter 22

Leo's POV

Since it was the weekend, we had a lot of time to do whatever we wanted. This weekend we had nothing planed.

"So what are we going to do today?" Raph asked all of us.

Mikey was sitting on the floor alone. Raph took the chair that's near the window. Donnie sat on the two person couch, and Karai and I took the three person couch.

"How about we get pizza," Mikey suggested.

"For the entire day?" Karai asked confused.

"Why not?"

"It's one of the only weekends that we don't have homework, and we don't even have plans," Donnie said.

"The park?" Mikey suggested

Both at the same time Raph and Donnie said "No!"

"I'd prefer not to go to the place right away that I got dumped at," Raph explained.

We all knew why Raph said no, but I was a bit confused on why Donnie also said no.

"Why don't you wanna go?" I asked Donnie.

Donnie scratched the back of his head. I knew he was thinking of a lie to tell us.

"Well...you know, just don't feel like it," Donnie lied.

"How about you really tell us why," Raph said.

"That sounds good," Karai said.

"Don't!" Donnie warned Karai.

"You know what happened?" I asked Karai.

She looked at me and nodded.

"I'm just not supposed to tell you."

You could tell we were all very curious of what happened.

"Donnie," Raph said.

"What do you want Raph?"

Raph just stared at Donnie. Donnie knew what he wanted.

"It's honestly no big deal," Donnie said.

All of us looked at Karai to see If it really was a big deal.

"Don't look at me, I'm not supposed to say anything."

"Why did you tell Karai?" Mikey asked.

"She was going to find out anyways," he explained.

"And we will too," I added.

"Fine if you really have to know, I helped Brenna do her homework there," Donnie said.

This wasn't the full story. I knew he didn't wanna tell it either.

"And..." Karai said waiting for him to continue.

"That's it," Donnie lied.

"That's not what you told me," Karai said.

"Okay, okay. After we finished we kinda...well you know kissed."

Just by looking at everyone's face, you could tell they were shocked.

"That's it, nothing else happened," Donnie reassured us.

"I thought you don't like her," Raph added.

"I don't, or I'm pretty sure I don't, it just kinda happened."

"Is that it?" I asked Karai to make sure that he didn't forget to mention something.

"Yeah, that's all he told me anyways," she said.

"How about we figure out what to do today?" Donnie said hoping to change the topic.

"Get pizza?" Mikey suggested again.

"You already said that Mikey," Raph said.

"But that was a while ago."

"How about we go see a movie?" Donnie said.

"That actually sounds like a good idea," Raph said.

"I'll go," Karai said.

"Me too," I agreed.

"I don't know," Mikey said.

We all know that Mikey just said that because we liked Donnies idea and not his.

"Fine," Mikey finally agreed.

"Hey Donnie, maybe you can bring Brenna," Raph bugged him.

"Shut up," Donnie said in a nasty tone.

"What movie?" I asked.

"How about that one with the monkeys?" Mikey suggested.

"Or how about the new horror movie that just came out not to long ago?" Donnie said.

We all agreed to the horror movie. Surprisingly enough, Splinter actually let us go!
