Chapter 51

Leo's POV

I had to phone everyone and break the news that we have to go. I don't want to leave, but what choice do we have? Splinter finally found out that we left the house when we were grounded.

On the phone Splinter didn't seem too happy. He was basically yelling at me to come back home now. I'm surprised it took him this long to figure out that we're gone. We've been gone for two hours now!

I already phoned Raph and told him to meet me at the front doors. He agreed to but told me he'd be a couple minutes.

Since Karai is with me, I didn't have to phone her. I'll phone Donnie next since I know Mikey will be the hardest one to convince that we had to leave.

I took out my phone and found Donnie's contact. I pressed on. The phone rang three times before he picked up.

"Hello?" Donnie asked.

"Donnie it's me Leo," I explained. "We have to go now, Splinter found out! Meet me at the front doors!"

"Okay I'll be right there," he reassured me." He hung up.

I only had one person left to phone, Mikey. I'm pretty sure he'll try to argue with me, but we don't have a choice.

I found his contact and let the phone ring. After five rings, I was starting to get worried. He wasn't picking up!

As the phone was ringing, Raph came. I was excepting him to be late or something.

"What's up?" Raph asked as he came towards us.

"He's phoning Mikey. Or at least trying to phone him," Karai explained.

After a few more rings, I hung up. I texted him, them phoned him again. Please pick up!

After two rings he finally answered.

"Hey Leo, what's up?" Mikey asked cheerfully.

I know after I tell him what's going on he won't be as cheerful as he is now. I knew I had to get to the point and fast.

"Mikey, Splinter found out and told us to go home now," I explained.

"You sure it was him?" Mikey asked probably know it was him but didn't want to leave.

"Yeah I'm sure, meet me by the front doors ASAP!" I said. I added the last part because I know he'll take his time.

He sighed. "I'll be right there." There was no expression in his voice this time.

Donnie arrived not much longer after the phone call. Now we were just waiting for Mikey. After a few minutes, he came.

"Lets go," I instructed.

They followed me out through the doors. It was getting colder outside. The wind was picking up and the sun was almost down.

We walked and talked about our nights.

"And once I did finally find Hannah, I danced with her then we had to go!" Raph said finishing off his story about how the night went.

I felt bad for Raph. He spent pretty much the whole night looking for her. He could've called her, but he wanted it to be a surprise.

"What about you Donnie?" Mikey asked.

Donnie thought for a second. "What do you mean what about me?"

"What'd you do?" Karai explained it to Donnie.

Donnie blushed a little bit. "Not much."

All if us saw him blush. We knew that "not much" was actually just an excuse so that he didn't have to tell us about his night.

"How about you tell us the truth," Raph said.

Donnie sighed. "I didn't do much," he explained.

Still none of us believed him. He would've told us by know if he wasn't hiding something.

He all stared at him hoping he'd feel guilty and tell us what happened. He just ignored us and continued walking

"Did you kiss Brenna?" Mikey asked.

Donnie's face went bright red. I was confused. Did he?

"You did, didn't you?" Raph asked Donnie.

Donnie sighed and looked at the ground. He really didn't want to answer that question, but he knew he had to.

"Well...she kissed me!"

All of our eyes opened wide. Mikey was just kidding. We weren't excepting him to say yes! Now Raph will never stop bugging him about her.

As we continued walking, I didn't realize that we we about to turn on our street. I was getting really nervous. I knew we were about to get grounded.

We didn't speak as we reached our street. I'm sure we were all thinking of the consequences we have to pay. Some of the ones I thought of were crazy! I was scaring myself even more then I should.

We had just reached our driveway. My heart started to beat even faster! I knew I had to calm down because I was most likely to do the explaining.

As we reached the door, Raph insisted that I went in first as he held the door. It was a nice jester, but he was only doing it because he didn't want to go in!

As we walked in, Splinter was standing right there in front of us.

"Follow me, you five have some explaining to do," Splinter said in a serious voice.

Just by that, I could tell he wasn't happy. If we don't wanna get in trouble, we've got a lot if explains to do!
