Chapter 27

Raph's POV

I was going upstairs to my room. Leo wasn't going along with the plan. That might mean that there may be no party.

On my way to my room, I bumped into Karai. I asked her to talk to Leo about the party. She agreed to.

I went to my room and turned my tv on. Donnie had just recently made me this tv.

I got him to make it red, because that's my favourite colour. It came with a lot of channels. A lot of them I didn't use, but it was nice to have a large option.

I put on some show that was about this family who were a million air. I haven't been doing much since Tammy and I broke up. I know that we broke up a long time ago, but I don't think I'm over her yet.

We had some great times together. I'm still actually not sure why she even broke up with me in the first place.

I was watching that show when I a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I said.

It was Karai.

"I talked to Leo," she said in a voice that I couldn't tell if it was good or bad news.

"Well...?" I asked.

"He's in," Karai said smiling.

I was surprised. I didn't know how she did it, but she somehow did!

"How?" I asked curiously.

"I have my ways," she said.

"Can you call everyone to the tv room? I'm calling a meeting."

Leo's POV

Karai somehow tricked me into going along with the whole party thing.

There was a meeting called, so we all gathered into the tv room.

"Where's Donnie?" I asked looking around the room and noticing Donnie wasn't here.

"He's not going to be here when the party take place," Raph explained.

"Why? Where is he going to be?" Mikey asked.

"He wouldn't go along with the plan, so he's going to leave that night. He promised to to tell Splinter though," Raph once again explained.

"When is the party going to be?"

"I was thinking Saturday," Raph said.

"You mean tomorrow?" I asked as if he was insane.

"Well do you wanna do it when we have school the next day?"

Raph had a point. If we held it on Sunday, we'd have school the next day.

"So tomorrow it is."

"We'll go shopping for everything tomorrow during the day, and set it up."

"We can't have too many people over," I said.

"We'll only invite like fifty people," Mikey said.

I was a bit worried. Fifty people on the house may be a bit too much!

The conversation went on. Once we went over everything, the meeting finished.

I went upstairs. I saw Donnie and decided to talk to him.

"Are you really not gonna come?" I asked Donnie.

"I don't know, I thought it was a bad idea at first, but now I think that I might regret not going," he explained.

"Then why not come?"

"I'll think about," Donnie said.

I went back downstairs. I went to watch a movie on the big tv.

I decided to watch Godzilla. I put it in and sat down. Halfway through the movie Karai came and sat beside me. She rested her head on my shoulder and finished watching it with me.

Once it was over, it was around 11:00pm. I would normally go to bed later, but since we were going to have a party tomorrow, I decided to go to bed.

"I'm going to bed," I told Karai who was still on my shoulder.

"Don't leave me," she said and hugged me.

I kissed her on the forehead and said "I'm tired."

She unwrapped her arms from me and gave me a quick kiss in the lips.

"I love you," she said.

"I love you too," I said and walked off.

That night I didn't sleep well. Although I went along with the plan, I was staring to wonder if it was really a good idea.
