Chapter 45

Leo's POV

We're all really bummed out about not being able to go to prom. The five of us were really looking forwards to it. But I guess it is out fault since we all agreed to have a party.

We're all pretty mad at sensei. Raph has pretty much been ignoring him. He was really mad since he asked Hannah to go with him, and now he has to tell her he can't go.

The real reason why I'm mad is because we only get one prom and I have to miss it. I wanna blame Raph for it since he was the one who suggested we had a party, but it wasn't just his fault. We all went along with it.

It's Saturday and I'm pretty bored. I'm not allowed out of the house or even in the yard. Sensei is really strict when it comes to punishments.

I decided to go see Karai. I walked up to her room and knocked I her door. I wasn't sure if she was in there it not, but I was gonna check.

"Come in," she called not even bothering to ask who it was.

I walked in and smiled at her. She smiled back.

"Hey," she said going off her laptop and walking towards me. "What's up?"

"Nothing much," I admitted.

"I know, I'm bored already too," Karai said. "I don't know how I'm going to last a month."

She took a seat on her bed. I followed and sat down next to her.

"Do you wanna watch a movie or something?" she asked.

"Sure," I said since there isn't much else to do.

We went through some DVDs she had in her room. She insisted we watched some horror film, but I told her I didn't feel like something scary. The truth is that I get too scared in horror films. I didn't wanna tell her that because that's another thing she'd bug me about.

"How about this one?" I asked holding an animated movie.

"Very funny," she answered.

I don't think she knows I was being serious about it. I decided not to tell her that I wasn't joking.

"What about this one?" I asked. Based on the back of it, it sounded pretty good.

"Sure," she said not arguing this time.

I put the movie in the DVD player and took a seat in her beanbag chair. I wish I had one.

Karai looked over at me and chuckled. "Why is it every time you're in my room, you always sit there?"

"I love this thing," I answer telling the truth.

"Why don't you come lay down with me?" she asked.

I sighed but quiet enough so she didn't hear me. I didn't really feel like getting up, but I have to keep her happy.

I went up beside her. Right away she came and cuddled against me. I smiled and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

We stayed like that throughout the movie. The only time we did movie was at the end of the movie.

"I picked out a pretty good movie hey?" I asked her.

She nodded her head in agreement. "I just think the ending could've been better."

I agreed with her. The ended wasn't one of those terrible endings, but it could've been a lot better than it was.

We were still lying down. I took my arm of her shoulder since it was in an awkward position. She looked up at me and wrapped both her arms around my neck.

I blushed a little knowing that she was about to kiss me. I put my hands on her waist and leaned it. We kissed for a few seconds before I pulled back. I was going to go back for a second one, but there was a knock on the door.

She quickly unwrapped her arms from around me, and I took my hands off her waist.

"Come in," she called trying not to sound annoyed.

Mikey answered the door. "Suppers ready," he explained.

"We'll be right there," I said.

He nodded his head and closed the door as he left. We got up and made our way to the kitchen.

Although I was grounded and not allowed out of the house, it turned out to be a pretty good day after all. Lets just hope the rest of the month turns out good.
