Chapter 8

Donnie's POV

The next day in science we were doing our astronomy unit.
It was out first day with this unit.
Our work starts off extremely easy.
But then again I understand science really well.

"How are you done already?" Brenna the girl I sit beside asked.

"Science is my best subject." I explained.

"How?" She asked.

"Science us my worst subject."

"I don't know the order of the solar system!"
I don't even know all of the planets!"
She exclaimed.

"Do you need help?" I asked.

"You'd do that?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said. "Why not?"

I named her the planets.
And by the end of the class, she knew the order of the solar system.

"I just wanna double check that I know the order.
Mercury, Venus, Earth Mars..."

The bell wrung.

"I have to go." She said.

"Thanks for all of the help Donnie."

"No problem, anytime." I replied.

I was at my locker when Raph came up to me.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Nothing much." I said.

"What's up with you and Brenna?" Raph asked me.

"I was just helping her with her work." I stated.

"Sure you were." He said.

"Honestly I was. Raph you know who I like." I said.

"Well I just thought..." Raph said but got interrupted by the bell.

"I'm late!" I exclaimed and walked quickly.

Mikey's POV

I was in math.
But the teacher was talking about something really boring today.
So I took a nap.
A nap that lasted the whole class.

Finally!
The end of the day.
I met "the group" (but April and Casey didn't come today) at the front of the school.

"Let's go." Leo said.

"Hey guys." Raph said.
"Since we got out half an hour early today, can we maybe go to the park?"
Raph asked.

"Tammy's there, isn't she?" I asked

"Well...she will be." He said.

"He have to go home Raph."
"I've got lots of homework." Leo announced.

"Yeah and I'm sure Splinter would be worried about us." Donnie mentioned.

"Tammy said Brenna was coming." Raph said.

Donnie's face turned red.

"You like Brenna?" I asked.

"Yes." Raph said, but right after Donnie said no.

"What happened to April?" Karai asked.

"I don't like Brenna, I was just helping her with her work." Donnie said.

"So it was like a study date?" Karai asked.

"WE WERE NOT STUDYING!" Donnie yelled.

"So it was just a date?" Leo asked.

"We are not dating!" Donnie yelled and started to walk in the direction of our house.

"Looks like we're not going to the park." I said.

"Guess not." Karai said.

When we got home, I unpacked my lunch, and got out my binders.

I was studying for our exams, even though they were still a month and a half away.

After a while, I fell asleep.
But I did end up getting a lot of studying done.
Well...kinda a lot.

I already know that I'm screwed.
School is not my thing.
