Meeting With News

Receiving a message from Mahina where to meet up, she gave Seth the address, a regular diner in town.
Seth needed some things and decided to go after his meeting with Mahina.
Heading into town and to the diner, Seth spotted Mahina, he excused himself to get to her table, "Oh hey. You made it."

"Yeah sorry if I'm late. You waited long?"

"No I just got here. So Seth, we didn't get to speak much at the party."

"Yeah it was busy and did spoke with the others. They're all amazing and fun, especially Lycaon who's more..."

"Energetic and crazy, yeah. That's Lyca. He's more the party animal out of us. Heard you haven't been back there in a while, something happened?"

"Oh well a lot of things happened, I wasn't completely out and I was forced out of the closet."

"Oh I'm so sorry."

"No it was actually a good thing if I think about it. If it wasn't for my friends taking me out to enjoy and let loose and spending some time with some guys over there, I wouldn't have been out. And it was nice to be back there."

"So you're newly out."

"Yeah I am. I'm not mad, or upset, about what you said at the party about Alistair."

"Let me say this at least, I wasn't trying to be a bitch. It's just, Alistair has a reputation by everyone who knows him."

"A flirt, a Playboy. Yeah I heard."

"Very flirty and sleeps around but there's more. Look I can see your into him, it's obvious how you stare at him and wanting to be closer. And noticed how Ali would sneak glances at you."

"He does?"

"Look I'm going to be honest with you, Alistair, he's a great guy, caring actually, any guy would be lucky to be with him knowing he can be there for you. However he's..."

"I know he's older, but I kinda like it. Though I know I should date around and I'm thinking about it. Still haven't found anyone."

"You really like him, don't you. He's figuring things out, look I know what I said was harsh but it's something you should know before going for Ali. It's great having a one sided crush but for Alistair, I know him better than anyone, he's my best friend and we have each other's backs."

"What is he going through?"

"Alot of personal stuff, just be patient with him if you're thinking of pursuing him. He doesn't show his other side of him, things happened and he's still dealing with it and I've been helping him through it."

"So be patient when the day comes, I don't know exactly what it is but I can be patient. Although I still have this feeling it won't work out and that's why I haven't told my friends about it, except for one but still. But he made me feel great and made me laugh.  I don't know what will happen but I like to try at least."

"Still be cautious. However it'll be fun to see you hanging out with us again."

Seth let out a chuckled, Mahina smiled and ordered their meal, while hanging out and enjoying their lunch, Seth noticed Mahina's phone vibrated a few times, Seth had the chance to get to know her, "So I know you guys aren't a Pack but just a group of friends. Were you in a Pack before?"

"I was. But I left due to some environmental problems and while traveling I met Alistair. 16 and we became close and since than, we've been there for each other, soon meeting the others and we became a rowdy group."

"Not a pack, wow. You don't need one. I grew up with one and now in another Pack."

"Being in a Pack is nice but it's not for us. We can do whatever we want and not let anyone tell us what to do. It's fun to be on our own without an Alpha. You're young, you have a choice if you want to be in a Pack or be a lone wolf."
