Days went and Seth hasn't responded the messages from Mahina or Crane or anyone, he just up and left Alistair without staying and letting him it doesn't change how he sees him. Now he feels so awkward about how he handled the situation. Finally getting Veronica alone as they went out, he wore his hoodie on and dark sunglasses that he borrowed from Veronica.

Veronica rolled her eyes, "Yeah that's gonna work. Dude, they have your scent, so this is not working out." Taking the sunglasses off of him, "Although you rock my sunglasses and you look really really."

Seth sighed, "You believe me, I didn't took advantage of Alistair and was there for a friend. There wasn't any indication of wanting to do something, there's no way I would do that."

Veronica nodded, "I believe you and there's no way you would do that. You didn't stay and let Mahina hear a lie or the truth. Which would be the truth because you didn't do anything. You were just consoling Alistair during a difficult time. So what was his story"

Seth shaked his head, "Not my story to share, I can't tell you, I'm sorry. But I understand Alistair better now and I care about him and it doesn't change how I see him. What you think? Am I really capable of being with someone like Alistair, who been through so much that it would take a lot of work?"

Veronica takes a deep breath, "Depends, is he worth it? Worth seeing him in your life and working whatever he's feeling? It's really your decision, Seth, whatever you choose, do it for you. What makes you happy and certain."

"Yeah. And I know it doesn't change what I feel about him, makes me understand him better."

Seth caught sight of Mahina, who looked she wanted to talk, Seth took a deep breath, "I can't avoid her, see you later?"

Veronica nodded, "Let me know what happens."

Seth went to Mahina who was regretful and hugged him, "I'm sorry for how I reacted and can we talk? Understandable you don't want to for what happened."

"No it's okay, yeah we should talk. You didn't do anything wrong, coming out of his room did seemed we did do it. But we didn't, I wouldn't take advantage of him like that."

Mahina nodded, "I know. Sorry, I've been protective of Ali for years, he told you?"

Seth nodded, "Yeah. He did. Did it to see if I still see him as someone I want to be with. It didn't change anything. How bad did he screwed him up?"

Mahina sighed, "What you can imagine, what he did to him. Alot. I always hated him, he was such a toxic and horrible person, Ali endured so much and I couldn't leave him, even though I didn't belong to that pack, Ali was someone I felt close to. He was a brother to me and we have each other's backs. I'm sorry I yelled at you thinking you did something. Didn't give you a chance to explain."

Chuckling, Seth smiled and leaned against the bench, "No, it's okay. You were being a good friend and sister. I hated what his ex did to him, he did alot and I'm amazed Alistair still living and growing. He's still struggling and I understand why he disappears. It doesn't change how I feel about him, maybe because we're similar to us being young and gay, my parents kicked me out and I'm living with the Blacks. But Alistair deserves someone who really understands and care about him. It's crazy but my feelings for him didn't change, it grew because of how strong he is, he's a good person and I don't want to give up on him. I know I'm being crazy for wanting to have something like him but I like him."

Mahina softly smiled, "It's not crazy, yes Alistair is a very complicated person, but he's a good person and friend. We love him and we have each other's backs. Him never wanting a relationship for the fear but if you're willing to be with him and stay, and understand him more, go for it but please be patient with him. He's not going to make it easy but be there for him."
