Night Wolf Part 2

A Little Quiet Time

With the kids out of the house, Valentina and Vanessa were home with baby Hugo for some little time together. With four teenagers and a preteen, it can be quite hectic, especially with a baby so Valentina and Vanessa took the chance to spend time with Hugo.

Val and Vanessa on the ground, with blankets and pillows for Hugo, helping him support his head, and watched him change into his wolf, being a hyper pup but back to a baby, they both laughed, Vanessa with her hair up in a bun, "Remember how the triplets were like this. How did we survive with triplets?"

Valentina laughs, "Oh I have no idea, I remember lots of crying, from us. Now look at us with this little pup of ours." Picking him up, Hugo grew a smile and giggled, the two squeal in excitement, with a baby in the house, knowing what to do as it's been a long time since they had a baby. They always wanted more children close in age with the triplets but it never happened, Vanessa wanted to experience pregnancy and a child close to the triplets age but never really happened, Val tried to get pregnant, it happened, unfortunately a month later she was no longer pregnant, the women made sure to save a sample of Cal who was the father of the triplets and Hugo. Vanessa didn't think she would successfully be pregnant but to her joy, she was and happy to have Hugo, experience a pregnancy and knowing what Val felt when expending the triplets.

Hugo babbled and giggling, and fussy as it was for his feeding, Vanessa took him and lifted her shirt up to feed him as Valentina made something quick to eat for the two.

Vanessa smiled, "He's growing so fast lately, wonder what he'll be when he grows up. Hopefully he grows up to be kind and strong and a helper, always there for anyone in need."

"Oh he will. He'll be like Dash, sweet and mischievous, or like the triplets. He looks like me, he got my nose."

Vanessa chuckled, "He does though. He got my eyes and hair but babe, he got your nose and smile. Genetics are a strange thing, he got everything from us."

"So very true and it's amazing and incredible. I just can't wait for him to grow up, like you said, he'll be completely amazing. His own person."

Finally putting Hugo down for his nap in the nursery, Valentina and Vanessa talked and ate their lunch and enjoyed each other's company.
Not used to having a quiet house, so used to the kids constant bickering, fighting and loudly chatter, something they definitely loved knowing it was them and the norm.

Vanessa chuckled, "Adding three more kids to the family, quiet is so boring and hard to get used to. Is it because we're wolves that we're used to the chaos?"

"That and we're just used to the constant noises from the triplets and with Dash came to the family, more of their presence, even Hugo and Seth. It's comforting, whenever it's too quiet when we don't hear them, it's weird and stressful."

"Right, they have to do something, they have to be loud and fighting or bickering, we got four teenagers, one preteen. Dash is almost 13 and he'll be joining the kids. Have you noticed Dash keeps hanging out with the teens, he wants to join in with teen talk and gossip. I find it cute but still, he should still be hanging out with his friends, his own age."

Valentina nodded, agreeing that since Dash always been hanging around and wanting to join the big kids, he stays and listens to whatever the triplets and Seth are doing. Even though it's not for a child like Dash, yet, they don't send him away and just let it be. Knowing Dash isn't doing anything but just wants to be part of it.

"But still nice though, knowing he has friends his own age yet he prefer to hang out with the older kids. At least we know they care about each other like spending time together."

Vanessa smiled, "Our incredible kids. Soon Dash would be a teenager, 13 and soon 16 before we know it. Wonder what he would look like, his wolf, it'll be a huge change."

"But we can handle it, raising him to know we love and care about him. No longer feeling scared or feeling he can't do anything when he's with us. It was rough for him in his first few years but we're creating new and happy memories. Besides, he's an active kid and he's truly happy with us, babe."

Vanessa smiled, "Very true. We're raising him well along with the other kids. And for Seth, I don't mind him staying or living with us, he's staying here. Letting him know this is a truly safe place, his parents still don't accept him and whenever I'm out on a walk with Hugo, I see his mother and she doesn't want to know anything about Seth. Or how he's doing, which anger and saddest me but I have to remember it's their mindset. They might not accept Seth right now but hopefully they would but I know it won't happen anytime soon. You spoke with Raphael about Seth? If he's asking about him?"

Valentina sighed, shaking her head, "No and that's what annoys me but I have to be strong and not do anything in scaring them off and leave our pack or the city. Because Dante and Audrey are his friends as well and want to stay and support Seth. Seth is safer with us here, he doesn't cause any trouble, he's very respectful and yes I know he wonders about his parents but he knows he has us. Considering what Raphael said about his own son, saying it was a phase and he was hoping to man him up with other ways to change him, but when I casually said that having children who are gay are also incredible and a gift. He didn't like it, changing their minds won't change anything. What we can do is to support and be there for Seth, he's a good thing. He's comfortable here, knows he can be himself, I noticed he's starting to wear nail polish and it looks on him."

"Very good and pretty. Embracing his sexuality with no worries or fears. I even overhear Sydney and Veronica speaking with him and they talk about boys and other stuff, Veronica helping him do his nails, Sydney gifting him his pride flag and hanging out up in his room. But I just love that Kyle loves spending time with him, we did good with Kyle. Comfortable in his masculinity, being best friends with Seth, we raised such good kids, Val."

"That we did. So happy the work we did in raising them."

The two heard Hugo crying, he woke up and went to see him, Valentina picked him up and Vanessa turned on some lullaby music, "Soon with this one. Our little pup. It feels good to be spending some time with Hugo, and hopefully with the others when you're not out looking over the Pack."

Valentina nodded, "Agreed and enjoying an evening with the kids. So much food around and watching movies and enjoying each other's company. Even if it involves them arguing or bickering the chance they get but still a good night."

"We should do that for the triplets birthdays on a Friday and dinner on a Saturday out in the city. Won't lie, once the kids start school, oh it'll be good. Yet I would have Dash and Seth home as I would homeschool them while watching Hugo. I'm thinking about something, Seth could join with the triplets for school, although not sure about it yet. Dash I do want him to start and friend some kids out there but not sure how he would handle it. Considering he's still quiet around new people and not that comfortable with anyone just yet. He's fine with us and his two friends, what do you think, babe?"

Vanessa was right, they're not sure about putting Dash to school, however it would be good for him to try and see how it would go. And for Seth, he can with the triplets and help him out. Valentina would love that, although with her being out, not loving Vanessa being home alone all day with a baby but she would always be there to help her out whenever she needs it.

Valentina smiled, "It would be good for the two and we should. You homeschooling them was a good idea however not a good idea you juggling that and the baby. Yes I'll be home but I would be out dealing with the other wolves. We should do it, and quick because school is almost here, around the corner."

"Oh definitely."

They shared a kiss and continued spending time with each other, with Hugo after a few hours as the kids finally came home.

Loudly chatting and laughing, dinner was ready and everyone sat down and started eating as they all talked and laughed as a family. A hectic family of werewolves that they all loved and cared about.
