Luna's POV

I'm so nervous but at the same time I'm so freaking excited! I knew Accalia would be the one for me ever since meeting her and the time we spent together, and now, I'm planning on making her mine forever. More than the mark but with a ring, I want her to be my wife. Planning on doing it for weeks now, have the thought and some ideas, something to show her I'm really serious spending my life with her. Thankfully I called her sister in New York to let her know and get her blessing, the two being twins, I care about the approval and talking to her on the phone for weeks, hinting it for some time.

Accalia is out at the moment, I continue my call with Macy, "I'm thinking of doing it probably later this week, I want it to be perfect and memorable. So tell me, I still want your blessing."

Macy laughed, "Hey, I already gave you my blessing and I'm happy you're proposing and taking that huge step. And you can do this, don't overthink it. I'm happy for you and Accalia."

"Thank you and I will." At the end of the call, I called up Laz to meet me in the city, he knows some people who work with jewelry, he definitely has something or someone in mind.

Meeting him at a very savvy jeweler, how fancy, "So, who you know here?"

Laz in his black suit, dressed very nice, glad being friends with a vampire has perks, "Someone I once helped 40 years ago, I've been around for 7 years making sure his kid had a great impression on me and helped that kid out from dying. From something I don't even remember, anyway, he owes me big time. You're welcome."

I grin, "You think he'll help us out? Help you out, does he even remember who you are?"

"Oh he definitely knows who I am. Especially with everything I've done for him, now let's get inside and get you a ring for your girl."

Clearly the man definitely knows Laz, since he took the time to greet us and took us to his office.

The man sighed heavily, "Lazarus Boleyn, welcome and what can I do for you? And who is this?"

"Baptiste Guidry Jr! Great to see you again after what, 12 years?"

"15."

"Like I said, great to see you again! This lovely woman is my dear friend, Luna Hale. She's here to require an engagement ring, so show us the finest rings, Jr!"

Baptiste sighed, "I dropped the Jr years ago. I'm the only Baptiste."

"Right. My condolences for your father, anyway, we're here for the most beautiful ring, Luna, it's for your girl, go ahead and ask, girl."

"I'm looking for a ring that just fits perfectly on my girlfriend." I noticed the eye twitch, Laz spoke up, "Hey remember 18 years ago when I bumped into you from the nightclub, what's it called, Let it Rain. Weren't you married by that time?"

Guidry loudly cleared his throat, "Anyway! I'll help you find the most beautiful ring for you and your girlfriend. Now what does she like, her measurements. Her name."

I gave him everything, and I definitely know what she loves and the color, although it's the price I'm worried about, I couldn't afford anything grand for Accalia, but with Laz here, he would surely have money, if he does, I'll pay him back. But I know he has some dirt on Guidry to lower the price, since Laz knows so much. Happy to have a vampire as a best friend.

After what it felt like forever, finally chosen a ring that's perfect and beautiful for Accalia! And the cute little box!

"Thank you, this is perfect for her! She'll love it." I can already imagine it, on her ringer, the joy on her face, her smile, that twinkle in her eye. Our hearts skipping beats, she's going to love it and she'll be mine forever. The mark made it official but for me, for us, this is set in stone completely.
