The Loving V's

When Valentina learned about what Luna did to Accalia and gave her the mark, she was proud of her, now that they are mates, she and Vanessa invited them over for dinner and celebrated it with them.
They spent the day cooking with the kids around, Vanessa was chopping some onions, "How amazing that Luna gave the mark to Accalia, what a big step."

Valentina nodded, "Very big and they're together forever now. Remember I gave you the mark, babe."

"Oh I remembered. Best day ever when that happened." The two winked, together they continued cooking, a separate cutting board to separate the onions and knives, "Babe don't use this knife, Nicky doesn't like it when she can taste the onion."

"Agree. Kids come help!"

To the kids in the living room watching TV, all wearing tshirts and shorts, the girls with their hair up, Valentina annoyed with them, "Veronica! Kyle! Sydney! Dash! Seth! Come help now or y'all not eating!"
Vanessa got them to stand the way she spoke Spanish, yelling at them which they all immediately got off the couch and started helping, "Yeah now you listen."

Kyle groaned, taking out from the caplets three plastic headbands, handing one to Seth and Dash.

Dash was confused, "Why am I wearing this?"

"For your hair, helps not have hair in your face, ma! What am I doing?"

Both Valentina and Vanessa were annoyed, Val sighed, "Cut the vegetables, Seth help Vanessa. Dash carefully peeled the carrots. Girls you seasoned the meat."

Veronica seasoned the meat and turned to her mothers, "How important is the mark, I know it mates you for life but for you really need it."
Sydney was curious as well, Kyle and Seth looked up, Vanessa and Val smiled, continuing what they were doing, "It must means you two will be together forever, letting others know you two are together and taken."

"It's a huge step into the relationship."

Kyle bite his lips, "What if your not ready but you want to mark the person."

"You'll be making the mistake if you being pressured, if you being pressured don't go through with it. Kids, Dash you listen too, once you find someone who's very important and know they're the one, make sure you figure your feelings and know you want to be with them. If you think it's the right time to mark them and they agree, go ahead, do it. But know this, make sure you really know it's what you want to do. Love can be amazing thing and sometimes confusing. If you feel it's the right moment to mark them, do it but do be careful."

"Mom's right, take the time to really think and know you want this. It's a huge commitment."

The kids nodded, Dash continued peeling and felt Seth ruffling his hair, Dash smiled and leaned closer to him, whispering, "How do you know you're gay."

"Oh well I just knew in a way, I just liked guys. But was scared to come out."

"Oh. Cool." Dash continue peeling, Seth smiled and continued helping Vanessa, Kyle chopping and asked Valentina a question, "I was curious, if you don't mark, we can still be together right?"

"You can but it won't be the same, the mark holds a lot of special things, such as feeling your partners emotions, I'm feeling Mama's feelings and mind, it's a special thing to experience with your mate."

After preparing dinner, and changed a little, Luna and Accalia arrived and all enjoyed the evening, chatting away and sharing their experience now with the mark, Accalia happily explained she could feel Luna's feelings and her thoughts.
All were amazed and wanted to know more, Dash however continued eating, Valentina was proud of the girls, to be mates and the mark, happy for them for the big step of the relationship.
