Just Loving You Through It All

Valentina's POV

To be the pack's Alpha has been challenging and thrilling, very rewarding, however it can take up some time from my family. But I always make time for Vanessa and the kids.
Getting home early each night to spend more time with Vanessa, my mate, my love. With Hugo, very happy and calm baby now after his birth, and Dash who's going to be 13 soon.
Even the triplets and Seth, teenagers who can defend themselves but still need us to tell them what to do.

As Vanessa and I settled into our bedroom with Hugo nearby in his bassinet, sleeping.

I let out a sigh of relief, "He's such a handful, more like the triplets."

Vanessa chuckled, "Oh definitely. But he's now calm and ended the phase of crying so much. Which is great because it can be alot. And overstimulated, especially for Dash with a baby in the house." We both smell something, I chuckled knowing it's the kids cooking something even though we just ate, "What do you think they're cooking up?"

Vanessa shrugged, "Depends, it can be the leftover chicken or some meat for burgers or meatloaf. They can cook up anything, oh wait, also something sweet."

"Of course they would." We shared a kiss and a phone vibrated, Vanessa groaned and checked it, sighing, I may know who it is, "Kathy again?"

Vanessa nodded, "Just one text, I do want us to see her again but it's not a great time. The triplets are entering school, I've been thinking of homeschooling Seth along with Dash until Dash is ready to go to school. You're quite busy with the Pack and helping me with Hugo."

"I've been managing taking us out on some dates and have time together as much as we can. Leaving Hugo with the kids all the time isn't good, but we managed. We love Katherine and that one night of us together and enjoying a good time, it was incredible but we're parents. So busy with our responsibilities."

Vanessa nodded, "She's amazing and we do love her but we don't have much free time, when we do have free time, we use it on the kids and with each other because we definitely needed it. And I love our dates we go on whenever we get the chance. The free time we managed to get even when it's for ourselves, I enjoy my free time without the kids or you."

"I agree, good to be apart for the day, but love to just being near each other. And right now, enjoying our time together, in bed, relaxing, and I love you so much. I've been coming home from the Pack, thankfully Cal helps me with them. It can be quite stressful, but I know it's stressful with you handling the kids, especially the baby."

Vanessa smiled, "It can be, especially with him changing into his pup so it can be quite a challenge but fun. I remember when the triplets used to do that, we handled those three, we always said we wanted more kids but it never happened."

"But look at us, with six kids, we went from three to another three, we wanted a big family."

"We definitely did. And I love them all. Even Seth and Dash who isn't ours but they are now. Plus don't forget about Amber who's always over and is always great and welcome. So 7 seven kids."

We both laughed and continued chatting and cuddled, while listening to Hugo sleeping and listening to the kids downstairs, talking quite loudly, cooking whatever it is.

As we discussed, having the opportunity to have time for ourselves, which we did and I couldn't resist in taking Vanessa out on the town, just for us. It's very rare but whenever I had the time, I take that moment to use it on my beautiful wife.

Taking us to dinner, a restaurant that's just perfect for us, where we spent flirting and laughing, enjoying the food and drinks. A chance for us to breath without the kids, being parents is really incredible but can be quite challenging at times but worth it.

Vanessa's POV

To be out in town with Valentina is truly special, always cherishing it because we don't always have this time to ourselves much often. Leaving Hugo with the kids is nice but I always mentioned to Val that I don't like leaving the baby with them because I know the kids are teens and have their own plans, even though they're happy to do it, I still like them to be kids.

As we enjoy our dinner, focusing on each other, we still have that connection with each other. In love and being there for each other.

The restaurant was incredible but I just enjoyed spending more time with Val, heading to any store in the city, our hands intertwining, sharing a few passionate kisses, laughing and loving each other.

Walking around the French Quarter, "I know it's too late for another child but if we did, what would our next kid would be? Or better yet, kids."

Valentina laughed, "Twins or triplets so we can remember what we did last time. Say one, it would be a girl. Twins, two girls or two boys or one of each. Same with triplets but this time, two boys and a girl. Oh it would be nice to have another kid but..."

We shared at each other and just laughed, there's no way we want another kid, we were perfectly happy with the kids we have now. "We're fine with the kids we have now. So happy we're women, not get accidentally pregnant."

Valentina laughed, "So true. We have the 'samples' but it's safe to say we're very good with our kids. We don't ever have this chance to come out here much, just the two of us."

"I always love this, walking around the French Quarter with you, babe. It's so nice and perfect." We shared a tender kiss and continued to walk around and listen to the musicians playing, very lively, so nice and perfect.

Hours of being out in the city and buying a few things for ourselves, we headed home to the TV on and the kids asleep, Hugo was sleeping next to Sydney on the floor with pillows around, Veronica near him, Seth and Kyle on the couchs, while Dash helped himself by making a sandwich at 11, he smiled back at them, "I got hungry and did you get..."

Val and I smiled and know what he wanted, "No and it's too late for beignets, love. Next time."

Dash smiled and continued making his sandwich and started eating, after he was done, I took Hugo up to the room while Val woke the kids up to get to their rooms.

Once Vanessa put Hugo in his crib in his room and head to the bedroom, Valentina got out of the shower and looked herself in the mirror, but instead of her reflection, it was her wolf staring back at her. Valentina was amazed and touched the mirror as the reflection on her wolf did the same. Quite intriguing it was and fascinating. The wolf with its eyes glowing and staring at her, Valentina smiled, knowing it was part of her and the life she chose. To be the alpha for her Pack. To protect the pack and her family.

She left bathroom, for Vanessa to go and she was quite surprised it showed her own wolf, Vanessa was at awed with it, a true connection and life, a growing smile on her face, her wolf showed itself on the mirror, for who they are and what it means to be werewolves. The two women felt proud and honored to have the ability and to be who they are. Especially knowing their children will experience it and feel more connected to their wolves. To be proud and accept the life of a werewolf.

A wild and adventurous life, knowing what it means to be a werewolf.

Vanessa joined Valentina in bed and the two spend kissing and immediately felt the need to be closer, stripping out of their clothes, to touch and pleasure each other.

Valentina and Vanessa spent the whole night pleasuring, their moans being the only place to be loud as they wanted, knowing nobody can hear, their hands and lips and mouth all over their bodies. Moments they would always cherish and take time to be at one.
Just for them, as wives, as mates.
Together.
