Finally Chasing You... or Am I?

Seth's POV

I never liked my birthdays because my parents never did anything big or made it a big deal, but now that I'm living with the Black family, I never thought I would be woken up by everyone singing happy birthday and bringing me cake! Which was so surprising but I appreciated so much from them! Turning 18 and spending the whole two weeks celebrating that Sydney would put it, it's my month and I deserve the best. I surge on some things for myself to decorate my room up in the attic which I made it into a great space.

Dante and Audrey have been amazing as always as they were the only people who were there before meeting the Black family.

But the most thing I am so excited for is... Is finally finding Alistair and letting him know I feel! Even though I know it won't lead anywhere, at least I got the confidence to confess, I spent texting him if he's free to hang out, free to talk. But there's no new messages from him, I figured he was busy so I waited, having my phone on me but nothing for a whole week I've spent messaging him. Haven't spoken or seen him after October, during Halloween, I know he's probably busy with something so I stopped messaging him.

Heading out to the city for some things when I spotted Lycaon, Porter and Alaska. I made my way over to them, into a movie store, I spotted Porter and Alaska, Alaska noticed me and waved me over to them. Alaska hugged me and she is so strong!

"Sorry I didn't have your number but happy birthday, you! Late birthday but hey, look at you, now an adult."

Porter ruffled my hair, I softly laughed, "Happy late birthday. Hope you had a great birthday, kid."

"Thanks I had and it was great." I felt Lycaon ruffling my hair and he laughed, I glanced up to his blue eyes, he mischievously smirked, "Oh we definitely have to take you out for some drinks."

Porter rolled their eyes, "Wait until he's 21, Lyca."

Lycaon grin, winking back at them, "Oh I know but can't hurt to have a wild time with him. Just you wait, I'll take you out without them knowing and give you a great time!" I couldn't shake how cheerful and interactive Lycaon is being after seeing him the first time at his place. The dark energy he had around, and the sight of him being out of it when he came back from hunting possibly more vampires during Halloween night. Real dark energy but now, he's very cheerful and upbeat, I gave a smile and nodded, "Yeah I bet it would be a fun time if you have something planned. You guys seen..."

Lycaon spotted Quill, Crane and Mahina walking, Lycaon smirked, "Alaska, you love me? Buy me these, I love you!"
Hurried out of the shop to be with Quill, they shared a kiss and Lycaon having his arm around Quill as they waited outside.

"So they're together, out in the open?"

Porter and Alaska chuckled, "Always so sneaky with those two. We been knew they were together but of course, they love the thrill of being caught."
Alaska placed a soft kiss on Porter's cheek, Porter grin, "Anyway what you wanted to ask, Seth?"

"Oh just wondering about Alistair, he hasn't responded to my messages lately."

Alaska came back from her things, "Oh don't worry, he'll respond back."

Porter nodded, "Just you wait, just be patient."

I headed out with them and Quill and Crane were happy to see me, Mahina smiled and hugged me, "Happy late birthday. Hope you had a great time."

"I did and thank you."

Crane chuckled, "We were just heading to get some food, come with us if you want."

"Oh no that's alright."

Lycaon laughs, "Nah it's totally cool, dude. Come on. Let's get some food!"

I couldn't say no so I agreed, I went with them to eat and know more about them, they were still a great and rowdy group but they were quite interesting people.
