Ex From The Past

Sydney didn't move for a few seconds and watched an ex who she dated for almost a few weeks when she was just 14, in a store picking up a few things. Sydney snapped out of it as her wolf shouted her,("Hey! Either go in and talk or head home! Decide you!")

Sydney sighed and hurried off before her ex spotted her, Sydney couldn't believe it, it's been so long since she last saw her and now she's back!

Once she made it back home and went straight to her room, she annoyingly groaned as she laid on her bed, her fairy lights turned on, Sydney kicked off her shoes and her bag on the floor, she wasn't sure what to do. A knock on her door and entered Seth, "Hey just coming in to bring back the movie you let me borrow."

"You can, can leave it on my desk." Sydney sat up, "You ever froze when you saw an ex that you didn't know how to react or do?"

Seth rise an eyebrow, "Not really no. Why?" He went to jump into the bed, "But now I'm curious and tell me all about it, so who's the person? I say person because you dated both guys and girls and now you a lesbian, which is it?"

Sydney sighed, "A girl I dated after Mateo, she and I dated for a few weeks and it was kinda serious but she ended it. Now I just saw her in a store from the window and I was so surprised I just ran off. I didn't know what I was gonna do, not only that, but she's so damn beautiful and hot! Such a glow up for leaving the city."

"Oh she left the city, damn must've been tough. And how beautiful are we talking about?"

Sydney groaned, "So damn beautiful I can't take it! So glad she didn't see me or I don't know what I'd do. And it'll be hard since she's back and I didn't know when she got back. Not only that, I would bump into her if possible again when we're in the city and I still don't know what I would say or do. Damn it, what are you doing? Give me advice!"

Seth sat up, "Oh right, well, well eventually you will bump into her and she would likely expected it too. What you think just because it won't happen, Syd, it'll happen. Just talk to her, not talking to her will just adds the suspense and anxiety. Might as well do it, if it's not you, she would bump into either Kyle or Veronica and she would be asking about her even though it would be possible."

Sydney sighed, Seth was right and eventually those two would bump into her and start talking, she laid her head on the pillow, "This is so gut wrenching!"

"You got that right." Seth laid his head on the pillow, "She's a wolf, right?"

"Oh yeah she is. Definitely can't avoid her in the bayou because she would be there too during a run and chasing some animals. So talk to her?"

Seth nodded, "You can't avoid it, even if you can, she would wonder why you are avoiding her, and want to tell me what happened between you two? If not then it's fine, totally fine if you're not ready."

"Thanks. And later I share the story but not now. But good that she's back home but still, my feelings towards her is now confusing that she's back and I'm not sure how to deal with it. Just need time to figure it out and maybe I would speak with her whenever I see her again."

Two days later and shopping in the city with Veronica, Veronica took noticed of Sydney, taking glances at something and kept quiet until Sydney tells her, as the girls checked out some clothes, Sydney instantly got all red when she caught sight of her, Veronica followed her gaze and spotted Ellia, Veronica stepped closer to Sydney and softly nudged her, "So she's back and you planning on speaking to her or avoid her? Either way, I don't think that's a great idea you got going on, Syd."

Sydney sighed, "I know and I'm just nervous and feeling so damn awkward for some reason, this isn't me!"

"Obviously. Look hiding is not working, she can sense your scent! Also Ramonita thinks it's dumb to be hiding like this." Ramonita, Veronica's wolf, snickered as she tells Veronica about how hiding never works out. ("Hiding is never fun unless it's for hunting. She has to figure out what she needs to do because her hiding from someone is not very wolfy.")
